Impossible Love. A Ratliff Fanfic.

Chapter 26

Hey guys I'm going to just write 2 more chapters or maybe three then write a part 2 to this story!

*Ratliff POV* 

Marina was able to leave the same day. I was able to stay with her the whole time never letting go of her hand. When we wanted water the both of us would go together hand in hand.  

When we got back to the hotel room she got a call so she left for a second.  

When she came back in she looked sad and happy at the same time.  

"I got a call from my manager. She said I finally get to do my first runway."  

"Then why do you look sad?" Rydel asked. 

"It's in England. I have to be there for 2 months. So I won't see you guys for a while."  

"When do you leave?" Stormie asked.  

"Tomorrow." She turned to me a tear in her eye.  

"At least it's only for a little bit. Right?" She asked. I shrugged my head but gave her a hug. I don't like being away from her for this long. It's so evil and annoying I've been through it enough.  

-next day-  

We are on our way to drop Marina off. When she woke up this morning she was miserable about having to leave so she just wore sweat pants, flip flops, a nirvana over sized shirt and my jacket I gave her when we first met. She didn't even put makeup on except for her red lipstick and her hair was up in a bun. I'm gonna miss her so much but this is great for her. She gave everybody a hug and came to me last. She wrapped her arms around my neck and wrapped her legs around my waist and i put my arms around hers. My shoulder started to get wet from all of her tears and even I started to cry a little. Stormie took a picture of us and the announcer asked everybody to board.  

"Mar, you have to go." I whispered.  

"No." She replied stubbornly.  

"Mar.." She released her grip and gently dropped to the floor. I kissed her goodbye and watched her walk to the plane. 

"I love you, Mar!" I yelled before it was to late.  

She stopped dead in her tracks and did a 180.  

"And I love you, Ellington Ratliff!"  

She turned back around and kept walking. I stayed in my spot until her plane left.  

-1 Month Later- 

*ratliff pov* 

Marina and I have been talking to each other when we can. Her runway show is coming up in 2 weeks and then she's coming back home. I heard my phone ringing and when I looked at who it was it said that Marina wants to face time me so of course I answered. We actually haven't face timed at all since she arrived in London. When I answered it wasn't her face that came up but somebody with blonde hair and huge eye brows.  

"Oh, is this Ellington?!" She asked with her strong british accent. I nodded my head with confusion. 

"Marina is just changing so she'll be out any second now. I just wanted to meet the famous Ellington she told me about."  

"Uh, do I know you?" I asked. 

"Silly me. My name is Cara Delevingne. Oh hey, there's the lovely Marina." Mar came on screen and blushed.  

"Cara! You promised you wouldn't call him!"  

"Oops." Cara said walking away.  

"How are you, Elli?" She asked sitting on a coach.  

"I miss you. I can't wait to get you from the airport."  

"I can't wait to come home. I have to go but just know that I love you."  

"I love you too, Mar." She hung up.  

I walk down to the pool where everybody was hanging out.  

"Ellington!" Claudia got up running to me two envelopes in hand. When i opened the one with my name on it, it said I was invited to go to the fashion show Mar was at. I looked up excited to Claudia who was also excited.  

"I got one to! We get to go together! Nobody else was invited because only few can come." 

"I actually got one also." Riker said walking up to us.  

YES! I can see her again! 

-At the show- 

*Marina POV*  

"You ready for this?" Cara said walking up with me. She was about to go on before me. I nodded my head and she smiled and rubbed my arm. When she left I was only able to catch my breath for a second. I felt a light tap on my shoulder and I knew that was my signal to go. 

*Ratliff POV*

I sat on our row which was the first one amazingly. In my hands were some roses and a note for her in them. I saw a girl with dirty blonde hair walk out and I noticed her immediately because she's the girl that facetimed me. Cara I think her name is. I looked at who just came out and was amazed. Marina just looked so beautiful and looked as if modeling was made just for her. Her scars were covered up with makeup which was good because it wouldn't look good for the clothing line. -after the show-

I got a text from Mar that she's gonna meet us at the spot we were sitting at so we patiently waited. Soon she came out with all of makeup still on and hair still curly but instead wearing jeans, vans, and the same jacket I gave her when we first met. We started to run to each other but stopped right in front of each other. I passed her the roses and she took them in hand. Then she stood up on her toes and pecked my lips and would have gotten away if I hadn't wrapped my arms around her waist. She wrapped hers around my neck and put her head next to my cheek.

"I miss you." She whispered in my ear which made me almost want to cry about how far she's gotten in life but instead I said it back. When we released she opened up the note to read what it said. When she saw what was in it she took a step back and her eyes sparkled when she looked up at me trying to figure out what to say to me.

"Love Never Dies?!" She whispered while holding up the tickets to her favorite musical ever.

"And guess who is the phantom." I asked trying to keep a straight face. Her eyes widened hoping that the name of her crush (who isn't me) will come out of my mouth. Once it did she jumped up and down clapping her hands.

"Excuse me miss, did you say 'Love Never Dies'?" A lady came up to Marina. Mar turned her head to the strander and nodded.

"My husband is the Phantom." Stranger said. Mar covered her mouth trying to hold her excitement in.

"I'd like to meet up with you again after the performance. May I have your number?" Stranger and Mar both exchanged numbers and said goodbye.

"Thank you, Ellington. Thank you so much!" Marina said in a unsteady voice because it sounded like she was going to cry. Which she did because the next night she was going to see Ben Lewis. What she didn't know was that she's holding Riker and Claudia's tickets which they bought themselves which is in the middle of the venue. Marina and I are sitting more in the front so she can see Ben's face which she is so deeply found of.
