A wind swept through the forest as they watched from overhead. The group of four travelling along the main road. The small blond bounced around the path while the silver haired girl hounded the man with relentless questions. The man alone would be trouble enough, as a member of the Legendary Sannin, it made their job difficult; yet the cloaked woman who travelled with them made it an impossible venture. "While you may be able to manage against them, I couldn't possibly. They're both on a completely different level."

"Yeah, if we go at each other, we'll both be killed. Even if we increased the numbers, that wouldn't change."

"I didn't expect the kid's guard would be a Legendary Sannin and the Dragon Samurai. With them as the opponents, the names of the Leaf Village's Uchiha Clan and the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist would be tarnished."

"Yeah. However, any strong one has a weakness..."

Kisame focused on the young girl beside the Sannin, beady eyes looking to the sword on her pack. The appearance of cracked rocks with a light glow of magma. "The girl, is she a Leaf Genin?"

"Yeah," Itachi confirmed as he stood, "she's the daughter of Hatake Kakashi and Terumi Yachiru of the Mist."

"Oh?" Sharp teeth bared with a wicked grin, "while we get the brat, allow me to play with the girl. I owe that bitch of a mother of hers quite a lot."

            "Do what you want."

"For the duration of this trip, you are not allowed to touch Onimaru," Retsu instructed holding out her hand. They had stopped at a shrine for some rest, Jiraiya and Naruto atop the hill with the latter playing with the bells.

"Why not?" Ayumi frowned at her, having no intention on handing over her sword. "You said that you were going to train me!"

"No complaining!" Retsu pulled a wooden katana and sheath from her right hip, holding it out with her right hand. "You'll be using this bokuto. You've been training backwards, normally you would not be allowed to look at a real katana until you can adequately fight with a bokuto. If you want to fight with the sword, you must start with the basics." With a sigh, she shrugged off Onimaru and gave it to the samurai. "The basics are your foundation, with no foundation then you cannot build anything."

"Yeah, yeah." Accepting the wooden sword, the moment it fell into her hands her arms were pulled towards the ground. Her eyes shot wide, "this is heavy!"

"You will train with that until it's no different than swinging a stick," she instructed, "then we will carry on."

"AAAHHH AAAAHHH!" A force rammed into her calves. Her world tumbled and she crashed to her back, the bokuto whacking off her forehead.

"Owie..." She whined scooting back and rubbing her forehead.

            "Sorry, Ayumi-chan," Naruto grumbled.

"So you learned from Kakashi," Jiraiya called, "then you experienced the "Bell Training", right?"

            "Yeah, I did! I did!"

Shifting to sit cross-legged, Ayumi held her ankles and gave a smile, "I heard that you were the one tied to a log because you tried to eat before lunch time!"

"I almost got away with it too!"

"If you want to do something like that then you need a big distraction! Sometimes I swear Papa has eyes on the back of his head."
