I held tightly onto Cordae once I felt his legs give out. I then picked him up and headed towards the exit. The others didn't say anything, following me knowing where I'm heading. Once we were outside I headed to the car and drove to the hospital.
When we got there we were in the waiting room. I still had Cordae in my arms not wanting to let him go. He moved and mumbled a couple times in my arms but was still asleep.
I was zoned out majority of the time and didn't pay attention to my surroundings much. Only when someone was talking to me or when a nurse came over to give us small updates on my cousin. I sigh and pulled Dae more into my body even tho he was already close to me.
I smiled to myself as I thought about the way I was holding him. As if he was a child sleeping after running around for so long. But that smile soon faded away when a doctor came calling for my cousin's family.
We all walked over to him and waited for the information he gave us.
Doctor: "She'll be ok. The wound didn't hit any major nerves or any. But it was a close shot tho. She'll have to take it easy for a couple days and take some medicine for the pain. If she starts complaining about it or anything bring her back here immediately." He said looking at all of us.
Amala: "Thank you so much, doc." She said.
Jay: "Are we allowed to see her?" I asked, voice sounding harsh.
Doctor: "Yes, come this way please." He said motioned us to follow.
We followed him down the hallway to the right and a couple doors down was Megan's room. Once we made it he told us she'll be a little tired but she should be awake. We thanked him and he left us to talk to her.
When all of us were close enough we gathered around her. Some of us in chairs others on the couch thing by the window. The rest were standing by the bed. She then opened her eyes and smiled weakly at us.
Onika: "How you feeling sis?" She asked rubbing her arm.
Megan: "Like shit, how's Dae?" She asked looking around.
Jay: "He's sleep, imma wake him up tho." I said gently waking him up.
Megan: "Hmm, he ok?" She asked with a worried look.
Jonathan: "Ye, he just passed out from exhaustion. But he's ok though." He said before I could.
She looked at me once Jojo was done talking. I nodded at her as Cordae got up and looked around. When he got off me lap he looked at the others then Megan. He smiled at her and hugged her. She hugged back and he laid next to her.
Megan: "Hey love, you ok?" She asked
Cordae: "I should be asking you that. But yes I'm fine, what about you?" He asked.
Megan: "It hurts like shit even though I can't really feel the full affect of it." She said.
He hummed in response and laid his head on her shoulder.
The room then went silent and we all just sat there for a min. Then outta now where we all started laughing and talking about random things. But after a couple hours of talking and laughing we had to go home. So we said our goodbyes to Megan and went home.
Once we were there we all ate and then into the separate rooms for bed. We took showers and are now laying down on the bed. Me and Dae were just laying there on our phones not speaking. He had his head on my chest and I was rubbing his side.
Cordae: "Today was eventful and tiring. But I'm glad Megan is ok tho." He said.
Jay: "Ye.." I said.
Dae: "How you doing?" He asked.
Jay: "I'm fine, you?" I said lying.
Dae: "That's a lie but I'm Oki." He said as he reached over me to put his phone on the nightstand by me.
But he had to sit on top of me to reach. I then grabbed his hips so he couldn't move. He looked at me once he put his phone down. We just stared at each other and said nothing. I then sat up and scooted back more so my back was on the headboard.
He laid his head in the crock of my neck like he was before. He then started kissing on that spot slowly and softly. I grabbed his ass and scooted him closer to me so our dicks were rubbing against each other.
Cordae: "I want you now, Jay."
