My Idol is My Best Friend (A Blaze and Lightning McQueen Crossover Fanfic)

New Town, New Everything

"Oooh, who's this new fella?"

"Starla, I don't think I've told anyone this yet, (accept Aj) but I have an idol! He's right here next to me."

"Aww, look at this adorable race car!"

Lightning blushed at this

"Thank you, Star.. la? Is that how you pronounce your name?"

"Yep, that's correct."

"So Starla, are there any race cars in this town?"

"Oh you silly race car, it's a city."

"Oh sorry, my mistake."

"Don't worry, it's fine. So anyways, what's your name?"

"Lightning McQueen."

"That's a very nice name! I hope to see you around soon!"

Blaze and Lightning exited Starla's garage and went to everyone's garages and leaves Crusher's garage for last. (Time skip to Crusher's garage meeting)

"Crusher, are you in there?"

"Ugh, what do you want, Blaze?! Don't you know that I'm tired?!"

"But Crusher, this is very important."

"I don't want to talk to you Blaze."

"Man, what's up with that guy?" Lightning said

"I have no clue, but I need to speak with him so he doesn't cause trouble for you." Blaze replied

"Okay fine Blaze, at least be out of here in 5 minutes."

"You got it, Crusher."

Blaze and Lightning enter Crusher's garage.

"So what do you want to talk to me about, Blaze?"

"I just want to introduce you to my Idol."

"Oh come on Blaze, waking me up over your I- Dol-"

"Blaze, is that who I think it is?"

"Yes, the one and only li-"

"Is that the one and only Lightning McQueen?!"Crusher shouted

"Why, yes I am." Lightning said with a smirk

"It's such an honor to meet a famous race car."

"Crusher.. what are you screaming for? I can't even-"
Before Pickle could finish his sentence, he looks at the red race car and starts to question if he's hallucinating.

"Am I hallucinating right now?! Is that, Lightning McQueen?! May I have an autograph please?! Otherwise, my friends will not believe me!"

Lightning chuckles at this and gives Pickle his autograph.

"Have a nice day Lightning!" Crusher and Pickle shouted at the same time.

"You too!" Lightning replied back.

Lightning and Blaze leave Crusher's garage and wonder what to do next.

"Uhh, Blaze, now that we've met everyone, what should do we do now?"

"Honestly, I don't know. Would you like to maybe, drive around town?"

"I would love to drive around town, Blaze."

Blaze and McQueen exited the Monster Dome and started taking a stroll down town.

Not too long after they exited the Monster Dome, Lightning got curious and started asking Blaze some questions.

"Hey, Blaze?"

"Yeah, Lightning?"

"Why is everyone here look like a monster truck?"

"You know, that's a very good question, I don't know. I guess we are just born that way."

"Wait wait, you're telling me that you were born by another monster truck and not built in a factory?"

"Well, yeah."

"How are you not built in a factory?"

"Well, now that I think about it, I'm not sure what happened."

"Well, that was a weird conversation, I think I want to change the topic. So anyways, what's your top speed?"

"With or without blazing speed?"

"What is blazing speed?"

"Oh, you have a lot to learn."

After Blaze explains what Blazing speed is to Lightning, Lightning decides to get one thing off of his tongue.

"Wait, so blazing speed is when you use a turbo jet to win every race?"

"Yep, that's basically it."

"Blaze, isn't that kind of.. you know, cheating?"

"Not if someone cheats in the race first!"

"Well, just because someone cheats in the race, doesn't mean you have to cheat too!"

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

"I mean, the only times I would find it acceptable is when you are off-road or something similar to that, Blaze."

"I think you're right about that."

Lightning smiles at this.

"Hey, just look on the bright side, at least we have each other's backs and that's all that matters."

"Yeah! That's awesome!"

Blaze and McQueen drove back inside the Monster Dome after 30 minutes of driving up and down the street.

"I am so happy to have a friend like you, Blaze."

"And I'm happy to have you as my friend too."
