Church always seemed to cheer her up after a bad day at school. After her homework was done, she got ready to go.

That evening at church she sat with her best friend Jill. Jill went to school with Abby and was very outgoing when it came to talking to people where Abby was very shy.
“How do you do it?” She asked Jill while they were eating snacks before the bible study started.

“I ask God for guidance and wisdom to help me.” Jill replied to her.

Abby told her what happened after school and what the boys said to her. “Now I don’t know what to think Jill I don’t want to believe them but there is that doubt in my mind.” Abby said sadly.

After a while, the bible study got started tonight’s topic was about Paul and his missionary journeys. He experienced a lot of persecution and was once called Saul and he went after Christians and arrested and even killed him.

After an amazing encounter he changed his ways and started to preach the gospel. Abby started to wonder if those boys could change their ways and become Christians. After the lesson they prayed together. Abby prayed quietly to herself.

“I am having a lot of doubt lately some boys at school told me the bible wasn’t even real and if I really believed in the bible. I don’t want to have any doubts, but I am having a hard time please help me.” Abby prayed hoping it would help.

After church was over, she went home to eat dinner and get ready for bed. After her shower she read her bible. As she read the prayed the prayer she prayed earlier.

Suddenly she felt a presence in the room which was strange because she was the only one in the room. She turned and saw a figure in the room. This figure had white wings Abby then realized she was looking at an angel.

She sat on her bed scared. “Don’t be afraid Abby God has heard your prayer” Abby sat there in silence until she found her voice.

“w who are you?” she asked her voice a little shaky. “I am Gabriel” he replied.

Abby sat there in shock she was talking to Gabriel the very same angel that appeared to Daniel and announced the birth of both john the Baptist and Jesus as well.

“My prayer he wants to answer my prayer?” she wondered to herself as she looked at the angel.

“God has heard your request and he wants to help you.” He told her.

“You will go on a journey that will both teach you how to overcome your fears as well as show you first hand the events that you have read about in order to witness to people around the world.”

Abby did not know what to say she was excited however she was also worried how will she be able to tell everyone her story when it was all over. She was sure she would find out later.

“So, I get to actually see the events from the bible?” She asked Gabriel

“Not only will you get to witness these events you will also get to interact with the people however you can not alter any events.” He told her.

Abby understood she knew she would not be able to alter any events of the past still she was nervous, but she knew God would be with her.

She knew that this would also answer her prayer of helping with her doubt. “You will experience the events from Jesus’ birth to his death and resurrection be brave for you will be tempted to doubt what you see and hear.” Gabriel told her.

Abby soon felt very sleepy a heaviness fell over her and she could not keep her eyes open no matter how much she tried.

She soon fell asleep as she prepared herself to take on this journey, she was honored that God chose her to experience this she was excited and nervous at the same time. She hoped that she would be able to take away the lessons that she will learn from this experience as she slowly fell asleep.

As she drifted off to sleep, she prayed that she would be strong and brave enough to talk to people after this adventure. She had a feeling that this would change her life in a lot of ways.

Barely able to keep her eyes open she faintly heard Gabriel whisper to her “I will be with you and will watch over you during your time there be strong in the Lord.”
