Lost Faith Found

Chapter 6 entry into Jerusalem

A few days later they were near Jerusalem on the mount of olives.  Jesus told two of his disciples to go into the near by village and they would find a donkey with her colt which had never been ridden. " Master what if the owner askes what are we doing with it?" one asked Jesus replied " Tell him the Lord is in need of it."

About an hour later they brought the young donkey to Jesus. The disciples put their coats on the back of the colt. Abby knew what was coming in the next few days would she be able to handle it all?

As they entered Jerusalem to the cheers of the crowd, she found it strange how now they were cheering him when only in a few days they would be calling for his crucifixion. When they got into the temple Abby was so lost in her thoughts, she realized she was away from the group.

The teachers of the law saw her they remembered her from the last time she was there with Jesus. "You there" one calls to Abby. "You are one of them that say that Jesus is the Messiah." She was surprised but quickly replied " yes, I do"
" That is blasphemy and for that you will be arrested" he scolded her as the temple guards grabbed her. " n no wait"

Abby struggled free and ran. After losing the guards she found Jesus
" You must be careful here Abby" he told her glad that she was ok.

After returning to Bethany for the night a woman came and anointed his feet with an expansive oil. " Why are you wasting this perfume when we can sell it." Judas complained.

Jesus replied by saying what she was doing was a good thing that she was preparing him for his burial. That night Abby lay awake thinking about what she has been though so far.

How much time has passed since she had been here? Will she ever understand? With those thoughts she fell asleep hoping she would soon understand why she was here.
 
During the last Supper on the night of Passover Jesus and the disciples were in the upper room Abby sat next to Jesus after helping the servants set the table. She was amazed and honored to be there on this night. As well as being able to experience everything she has so far.

She knew Gabriel had been with her the whole time even if he was invisible from her site. Jesus took the bread and blessed it. Abby remembered reading this the bread represented his body while the wine represented his blood.

Jesus spoke and said “one of you will betray be”. Shock went though the room as the disciples whispered to each other.
“Lord is it i "? one asked and he dipped a piece of bread in the sauce he said “is it the one who accepts this bread that I have dipped".

Judas took it and left the upper room. Abby wanted to go after him to stop him from betraying Jesus but Gabriel’s strong hold on her shoulders held her in place, she realized she could not intervene.

Meanwhile Judas went to the teachers and told them where Jesus would be.

After Judas left, they also discussed what to do with Abby. “She has spoken blasphemy by saying that this Jesus is the son of God according to our laws she must be stoned” said one as he paced about. “We will arrest her along with Jesus then.”

Replied another. While all of this was going on Jesus his disciples were heading to the garden.
