Abby woke up with a headache she looked around at the dark damp cell she was in. She remembers being with Jesus in the garden. The rustling of the leaves then " oh no Jesus!" She whispers to herself she quickly reminded herself that he has to do this in order to save man kind. A solder came and took her to the main room to find the teachers of the law.
" You are charged with blasphemy by saying Jesus is the son of God the penalty is death" they cried. Abby shook with fear. " However, we will let you watch the trial and death of Jesus to show you that he is only a man."
They took her to fallow the group that had Jesus going to Pilate. She didn’t know how long she was there soon she saw Pilate with Jesus. “Which one do you want me to release to you: Jesus Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?” he yelled out to the crowd.
Reminded of her religion class in school during Passover the governor allowed the crowd to chose a prisoner to be released she listened as the cried out the name Barabbas.
After trying once more he said What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” The crowd cried out for Jesus to be crucified.
Abby cried out " NO PLEASE DONT" she was then surprised to hear the governor "Why? What crime has he committed?” Shocked at the crowds reaction still wanting jesus crucified Abby stood there as Pilate washed his hands and said “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!”
