" You are out of your nuts seriously Chauhan. " Maya dampened the cotton in water, wiping the blood off his corner of his lips.

He hissed, " I wouldn't have reacted if it wasn't him touching you. "

" This doesn't mean you'd tackle him down, don't forget he is the king still. " She applied the ointment on his bruises.

" Yeah yeah whatever. " He rolled his eyes laying back on the bed.

" Get out of my room now. " She scoffed keeping the kit back in her bag.

Flashback

His hand landed on Vikram's cheek, boiling the blood out of him.

" Didn't your parents teach you to respect your elders? " Sameer roared.

" They definitely have taught me. But to respect the one who deserves it. " Vikram roared back.

Another punch landed on his face, he stumbled on his steps and tilted his head psychotically.

" Now that you have provoked me old man, bear with it. " Vikram said.

Yet another punch landed on Sameer, he growled as his cheekbone bruised.

Vikram showered the double of punches and kicks he earned, at last knocking down the old man.

Not fainting him exactly but compelling him to accept his defeat.

Present

" I'm not leaving you alone today. You can be in danger after what happened. " He said sitting up.

" Nothing is happening to me. Leave. " She shot back as he shook his head at her stubborness and gave up, walking out.

Yet, instead of going to his room, he entered the lawn.

He smiled at the touch of the soft grass underneath his feets, relaxing his tensed nerves.

Things wouldn't have changed if they won't have decided to come to Jaipur. Nevertheless it was their fate, they ought to play along.

" Don't take him seriously. " The voice echoed in his head.

He chuckled, " I'm not even " He mumbled.

" Good. Just I'd like to advice you one thing. Stay away from him, he's a malicious hunter. You can't go against him in front of everyone. He's the king. You remember? " Vikram listened carefully and hummed.

" Yeah. But if he dares to hurt my Maya, he's dead. " Vikram scoffed.

" Oh, your Maya I see. " He smiled at the voice.

" Whom are you talking to, Vikram? "
