The door creaked open as Vikram walked in. Greeting the silence, Vikram's eyes met with his standing in front of the mirror.
Mahi felt like throwing up, she rushed to the restroom on the floor making a lame excuse of stomach ache.
Rishi strolled in the garden, waiting for her to come back. His heart felt heavy with anxiety, something felt wrong. It was. He noticed a silhouette behind him, thinking it of Mahi he shrugged it off.
No sooner he felt sharp pain in his chest, blood soaked his white shirt. He gasps looking back at his own brother grinning in victory.
" What I want is always mine. Didn't I clear that out? " Sameer whispered twisting the knife and stabbing him again.
" I–I never thought that you would deceive your own brother for the throne. " Rishi said as tear spilled off his eyes.
" You are not worthy than my throne. " Sameer growled in annoyance as Rishi lost his balance, collapsing down.
" You know, I am sorry but I've to kill you. Or else your bloody mouth will spill everything to that dumb lover of yours. "

Sameer pushed down the knife in Rishi's throat. Rishi lied their life less, as Sameer's dark eyes lit with glee.
Vikram jolted up, trembling with pain and sweating profusely.
He looked around himself frantically, finding himself beside Maya who look pale than she looked a week back.
" Oh! You're up after a week? " Soha handed him the glass of water.
" A–A week? " Vikram fumbled.
" Yeah–wait! You thought you were sleeping for just a day? " Soha chuckled.
" She's gonna be up soon. " Ari stated.
" H—How do you know? " Vikram asked, panic arouse in him.
" The sand clock. She's about to witness the horror. " Ari sighed pointing at the sand clock near Mahi's frame.
Vikram glanced at her, indeed she was about to witness the horror.
