The next day was their last day in Jaipur, Maya and Vikram's teachers were proud of them.

" Zoya ji. " Maya jogged to Zoya who was wiping her face after throwing up since the third time by the morning.

" Haa Maya? Aapko kuch chahiye? " Zoya smiled at the girl.

" Aap thik hai? Aap subah se chaar baar sab bahar nikaal chuki hai. " Maya looked at her, concerned.

" In dino, yeh aam baat hai. " Zoya smiled to herself.

" In dino? " Maya arched her brows in confusion.

Zoya grinned, no sooner Maya decoded the meaning.

" Sachhi? "

" Haa, isliye toh hum ek mahine ke liye ammi ke yaha gaye the. " Zoya shrugged.

" Kyu lekin? " Maya sat beside her.

" Warna Sameer, phir wahi karte jo unhone pehle do dafa kiya. " Zoya's voice cracked as it recollected how mercilessly Sameer killed both of her unborn children.

Maya nodded, " Woh main yeh batane aayi thi ki hum aaj wapis jaa rahe hai. Khayal rakhna. "

Zoya smiled, " Ji. Khush rehna, aur ha. " She paused as Maya smiled in confusion.

" Vikram se apne dil ki baat keh dena, kahin der na ho jaye. " She chuckled seeing Maya blushing.

Maya sighed as she occupied the last row of seat in the bus along with Rhea.

Switching off her mobile, she glanced out. Soon her smile was replaced by a frown and her lips forming a pout unknowingly.

Vikram out there, was shamelessly flirting with Avi. The girl he saved the other day.

" Kids, get in the bus. We are living in minutes. " The teacher yelled as everyone climbed up hastily, Vikram helping her climbing up.

" Dare you talk me now Chauhan. " Maya mumbled grumpily plugging in her air pods with songs loudly blaring in her ears.

I jogged beside Maya after sitting Avi on her seat.

Gawd! How clingy one can be? Ugh!

Seems that she didn't acknowledge my presence. She didn't even budge when I tapped her shoulder.

" Maya! " I shook her whisper-yelling.

" Yah! You idiot! " She snapped turning off her songs.

" What? Why are you ignoring me? " I asked with a puppy face.

" Why? Go and have fun with that girl, Avi. " She scoffed.

Jealous I see! Ha, it's gonna be fun.

" Aww... I can smell something burning already. " I chuckled earning a fierce glare from her.

" You better shut your mouth before I break it. " She snarled.

Oh my! My kitten is angry. It's serious now.

" Maya! " I tapped her shoulder repeatedly.

She scowled snapping her head at, " What—" She begun until she was cut off with a peck on her lips.

Yah! We stole each others first kiss.

I saw how blood rushed to her cheeks and her ear tips turn cherry red.

" So Maya! It was fun wasn't it? " I teased.

She gaped looking at me, " I love you " She whispered.

I froze. " Wait, come again! " I unconsciously mumbled.

" I said, I love you. " She grinned.

I smiled kissing her red cheeks, " I love you too Mrs. Chauhan. " I mumbled in a husky voice, startling her.

I hope y'all loved this story. This was in my draft since November. But then, finally in Feb I published it as I gained confidence on this plot.

Hope that this didn't disappoint y'all. And yeah, I'm anti-romantic so I think I messed up last two chapters.
