Eliza and Felix

Chapter 10

The school day ended and I did my best to look nice with the dress. I curled my brown hair and brushed it out so it looks like waves. I took my pair of knee high socks and put them on. "Eliza are you dressed yet." I forgot Henry was gonna come over and help me. "Yea Im upstairs just open my door." It only took him a few minutes. He opens my door and looks at me with shock in his eyes. "Eliza you look beautiful, never knew you can rock a dress." "Wow Henry I never you were such a jerk." I got up a pushed him a bit with my shoulder. I sat down on my bed and asked Henry to pass me a pair of shoes. "Yea but do you wanna wear the white shoes that  would go with the sleeves of your dress or blue shoes that would go with the bottom of your dress?" "The white ones you idiot." He hands me my white shoes and I slip them on. "Now stand up and give me a twirl." I do so and love how my outfit looks. "Ok now I think you should take money just in case." "I already thought of that Henry I have fifty bucks on me just in case." "Good that will be important just in case he forgets his money." "Henry it's fine if he does, I don't mind paying for the both of us you know." Henry was gonna say something then we both noticed the time. "I have to go, I need to go, im late." "Your only late by five minutes you'll be fine." I grabbed my thing and ran out the door. I ran towards the park that was only a few minutes away from my house until I reached the park and see no one there. I look around and still no sign of Felix. I sit down at a bench and decided to wait for him. A few minutes go by and no one. I get up and walk towards the ice cream place. "Eliza," I turn towards the voice. "I'm late I'm so sorry." His eyes are so lovely and perfect "I had to find where this park was." "Felix don't worry about it. Everything is fine you were just a little late." " ok pumpkin." I look it Felix's eyes and his eyes were already looking at mine. He stepped a few steps closer to me. " w-what did you just call me?" "I called you a cute hazel eyed pumpkin." I felt my face turn red. "Let's just walk to the ice cream place." I say with my hand down trying to cover my burning face. "Ok cutie." Felix just called me cutie. Am I really that cute to him. I slowly removed my eyes from the ground and looked at him. His face makes me smile. Yet that smile went away when I tripped over something on the ground. I tried to catch my balance but i don't have that I was prepared to fall and get hurt when Felix's hand catch's me and helps he stand upright. I was close to Felix once more. I took a step back and apologized. "Why are you saying sorry you don't have you cutie." I look back towards the ground and didn't say a word and we started walking once again towards our destination. "Eliza we are here at the Ice cream place." He went up to the door and opened it for me and I walked in. I knew a few of the workers at the ice cream shop so they came up to me. "Eliza it's so great to see you how have you been." "Gray Im doing great how about you." "I'm doing well but, este niño quien es el porque el es aquí." " El es El Niño yo esta enamorado con." Grays eyes widened and looked at Felix who seems to have not heard a word that we have said. I walk back to Felix and took him to the register as he looked around the ice cream shop in amazement. "Can i have one chocolate chip ice cream in a cup please." "And I'll have one vanilla ice cream in a cup as well please." Felix likes vanilla ice cream most people hate that because it's basic. "Ok your totally is $20.45." I reached to get the money I brought with me but it was to late Felix already payed for them. I thank Felix and he pats my head then grabs his ice cream along with mine. Wait our ice cream was ready that fast. I went up to where Felix had just sat down and took my ice cream from his hands and sat across from him. "So do you have any siblings Felix." " No I don't actually, well I had a twin brother but he passed away while our mom was giving birth to us." " Felix's I'm so sorry I didn't know that." " no don't worry about  it's not like it your fault, but what about you Eliza do you have siblings?" "Yes I do actually i have six's half blood siblings I just don't see five of them the only one i get to see is Vanessa." "Why don't you get to see the other five?" Felix asks me. "Well the other five live in dillvar, we live in Gardenia." " well Dillvar is a crazy city across the country and Gardenia is a very nice city plus the beach isn't far and such a beautiful one too." I started eat my ice cream and didnt say much. I miss my siblings. A few minutes past and we both finished our ice creams so we both thought it was time to leave. We got up and through away our cups and spoons and walked out the door. It was really dark out side. "Eliza can i walk you home, It's dark out here and I really rather see you walk into your house and make sure you are ok." " oh yea of course." We started to walk towards my house when it got very cold. Wrong day to wear a dress. My arms started to get goosebumps while my body started to shake from it being to cold. "Eliza your shivering." "Oh it's nothing important I just get cold very easily and I didn't think I would be out this late so I didn't bring a jacket and all." Felix had us stop and took off his hoodie and put it over my body. "Here wear this it should keep you warm." I fully put it on and it was longer then my dress. I thank him and we continue on the walk. He suddenly reaches for my hand and walks the rest of the way to my house holding it. My face was on fire once more. We walked up my driveway and I face towards him. "Eliza are you doing ok you look a little warm." He reached for my forehead but not to feel it instead to kiss it. It makes my face explode with warmth. I look towards the ground and start taking of the hoodie until he stops me. "Keep it Eliza it's yours now." I nodded and walked out to my door and went inside. I quickly ran to my room and jumped on my bed and was squealing. I can't believe today happened. Although I was quite i liked his company and now I have a hoodie of his i can't believe it. I'm so excited. I got undressed and changed into some nice pajamas but I wore his hoodie over them. My phone suddenly buzzed. It was from Felix.
Felix: goodnight cutie. Sweet dreams< 3.
My heart wanted to burst.
Eliza: good night puppy. Sleep well.
I called Felix puppy and I'm happy about it. I can't believe I did that. I can't believe today happened I can't wait to go to school and see him again tomorrow maybe we can hang out tomorrow again. I rested my head onto my pillow and drifted off to sleep.
