CHAPTER 3--part one

** Sometimes beautiful things come into our lives out of nowhere. We can't always understand them but we have to trust in them. I know you want to question everything but it helps to have  a little faith. **************

So before the chapter I just thought I would put the quote in.  I can't really remember where I had read it but I loved it  so I thought I could share it with you guys.  Okay here is chapter three( part one).  Read on.

There is only one thing in this world that I love more than anything( okay so maybe that's half true). Do you know that it is? 

SLEEP! !!! So when I woke up this morning by Ally (our dog) jumping up and down on my bed licking my face,  I was pissed.  If Ally was in my room that meant my parents had already left for work and as usual they forgot to close the back door. Hence the excitedly bouncing dog.  If she wasn't as cute as she was I would've thrown her off my bed and drag the covers over my head hoping to go back to sleep.  When I saw what the time was I almost had a heart attack.  Tiana is going to kill me if I'm not ready by the time she gets here which by the way is in 20minutes. 

Since I've been ridding with her to school my parents got up really early and left for work before I woke up.  Let's just say we've been avoiding each other.  I can see at night that when my mother looks at me she looks like she's going to break down,  but I always leave before that happens.

I got ready in 15minutes. How you ask? I have no idea but my best friend can be scary if she wants too. She arrived a few minutes later and we were off too school. 

Today was Friday.  The day of our last year and the party.  Tonight's party was my excuse to try and get away from everything that's happened and frankly don't care of its only for a few hours.  I really needed that few hours.

The test was horrible, but at least I know I won't fail it with all the studying I've been doing.  Thank goodness.

There was always two types of maths people. The ones who argue with each other about this one equation and the other one were those who argued with each other,  because one says the time limit is 40minutes and  another one says it 50minutes.  I mean come on why would you even be arguing about something so senseless.

After school I went home to take a nap before the party tonight because I know it will be exhausting. I woke up a few hours later to my phone ringing. 

Me- What!!??

I snapped at the person who woke me up. 
Tiana- Jeez woman calm your tits, would you? I was just going to ask you why your not here already. I need help with setting up the lights.  You know how people fall over things in the dark and the fact that they're drunk doesn't help their case. 

I groan while getting up. 
Me- Tiana you and I both know that those lights won't help.  Whether they see where they're going or not they will fall. How many times has Jeffrey fell over a flat surface?

I said trying not to laugh to hard  at the memory.  Jeffrey would always fall over a flat surface and the best of all is he falls on his face and when we try to help him up he just yells at us to leave him alone.

Tiana- True that and Jeffrey is funny as hell when he's drunk. But any who never mind the lights then.  Oh and there is going to be someone new tonight.  I hear he's hot. 
Me- Tiana you do realize you have a boyfriend right?
Tiana- I know that but it doesn't hurt to look you know.

She says and I could almost hear her pouting.

I just laughed at her while hanging up to get ready.

I decided to walk to her house since it wasn't that far and I needed some time to think. 

On my way there by phone buzzed in my pocket.  When I took it out I saw that it was a text from mom.

*I would like to talk to you when you get back from the party.
Love you. *

You know what the sad part is I don't think I was ready to talk.  So I just put my phone back in my pocket without replying.

When I got there the party was already in full swing.  I could hear the music flowing through the air and feel the vibrations in the ground of the loud bass. I went through the gate and started walking along the driveway to the backyard were the party was being held. 

"Sam, you're finally here??!!!" Before I could see who was talking to me I was tackled to the ground. Yes TACKLED.  When I looked up I saw Tiana lying ontop of me smiling brightly.  I instantly knew that she was tipsy. I laughed at her actions trying to get up,  but it was kind of hard with someone lying on me.  Bianca came and helped us up and all three of us walked to where the others were.

That's when I saw him. This must be the new guy Tiana was referring too.  I have to say he was gorgeous. He was about 6'3 with dark brown hair that shines in the last few rays of the sun that peaked through the trees surrounding us.  His eyes were beautiful and I couldn't look away. It was as if his eyes were drawing me to him.  "Travis. ......."I snapped out of my daze by a hand resting on my shoulder.  "I'm sorry what?? " She just laughed at my actions.

"I said his name is Travis Moreno. Now come one everybody this is a party. Let's go get a drink I'm thirsty." And with that said everybody left to go to the kitchen leaving Travis and myself alone here outside. Our parties were always outside it was more fun that way.  We only went to the kitchen for three reasons.
1- To get yourself a drink.
2-When someone's parents are coming you go and make them coffee to get them sober.
3-To get food or more like to get Milo cereal.  I mean have you ever had it while being drunk or after.  Its just amazing really.

I went to sit down on one of the couches that were standing outside.  This couch is like the best thing ever made.  I lied back and looked up the stars. I thought about what my mother wanted to talk to me about but I pushed the thought aside. I was going to have fun tonight. 

"A shot for your thoughts. " I had forgot that I wasn't alone out here and jumped when he sat down next to me. 

"Isn't it a penny for your thoughts?" I asked him with a confused expression in my face.

"It is but I don't have a penny with me and there is shots being taken in the kitchen so that's what you get. " He sad smiling at me. It was contagious and I found myself smiling back.
