Why won't you go to her
When she stands at the cliff's edge
Don't let unsaid words be her undoing
And the time you spend together ends
She will leave and the light will too.

Trying hard not to look at your face
In that place where she spends in play
You don't see her- but she never hid
And she looks up, realizing she already fell.

Bleeding from that slow gruesome fall
Just listen as she calls out your name
Be beckoned by her call
Be brave and answer with heart

Your words and your touch she craves
You won't see that starving heart bleed
And use gentle words as a bandage
Stop watching while she only talks to birds
And these feelings you won't regret.

Why won't you approach so she won't cry
She has loved only you since her dawning

She wants to drown to drown it in the sea
