Lock the door behind you when you leave to prevent uninvited things coming inside.Outside will remain pure and in rose color, As I want it to be.
I will sit and gaze through the window and be content, not missing out on things that matter.
I can still see the sky and sun and when it rains I will see the branches and leaves shake.
I can still see the stars and moon through the glass, so I won't step out into that night.
But the reeling air through that cracked window seems to carry a clean and inviting scent.
Suddenly it wasn't okay just looking out.
A heavy coat I take from the hanger and in it I wrapped my body and covered my feet if boots.
I held my breath and slowly opened that door to be brave and ponder if I should take my first step over the threshold.
