"This night is sparkling
Don't you let it go
I'm wonderstruck
Blushing all the way home
I'll spend forever
Wondering if you knew
I was enchanted to meet you"
- "Enchanted", Taylor Swift

"What the hell is everyone freaking out for?" I ask my best friend as I sit in my seat. I went to go get snacks and drinks and, when I came back, everyone was freaking out and screaming and yelling. For what reason, I have no idea.

Madison shrugs. "Hell if I know. You act like either of us care about what's 'cool' or 'popular.'"

"You make a good point."

There's about two minutes until halftime when I get up to use the bathroom. I've drank an entire cup of Dr. Pepper since we sat down, and I am now realizing that that was not a good idea, because now I've gotta pee really badly and the line to use the bathroom is never-ending.

Once I've used the bathroom and washed my hands, I head back to my seat. Madison is probably waiting for me to come back. She hates being left alone, especially at big soccer games like this.

I turn the corner to get to the student section and run straight into someone. Thank God neither of us are carrying anything, because we definitely would have dropped whatever it was. The guy reaches out to grab onto my arms before I can fall.

"I am so sorry." He tells me, eyes worried at the fact that he almost ran me over. Not like it's his fault, though. I need to pay attention to where I'm going.

I shake my head. "No, that was on me. I'm sorry." I finally take the time to look at him, and I'm shocked. This gorgeous man is the person I ran into?

He's tall, around six feet, with longer brown hair that's currently covered with a hat. He's wearing a grey University of Michigan hoodie and black pants. I've never seen him before, not that that really means anything. But he's gorgeous. Of course I had to embarrass myself in front of him.

"You okay?" He asks.

I nod. "Yeah, you got me before anything could happen. Again, I am really sorry about that."

He waves it off. "It's no problem, really."

Luke Hughes, one of the guys in my psych class, appears out of nowhere. "Jack, bro, are you running over people?" He asks jokingly. He notices me after a minute. "Hey, Y/N."

"Hey, Luke. What's up?"

He shrugs. "Not much. This is my brother, Jack." He introduces me to the guy that I have basically been drooling over since I first saw him. "Jack, this is my friend, Y/N. She and I are in psych together." He explains.

Jack nods. "Nice to meet you."

Luke throws his arm around Jack's shoulders. "Just a little background here, this man here is more than just a normal twenty-year-old." Jack shoots him a glare, silently telling him to shut up, but he continues. "He was the number-one overall draft pick of 2019 to the NHL. He's a center for the New Jersey Devils, and he broke scoring records in the US National Development Program when he was playing for them." Luke brags.

My eyes widen. "I remember you telling me about that! I can't believe I forgot." What I now remember is Luke declaring that he was going to get Jack and I together. I am most definitely not mentioning it, especially since, by the look on his face, Luke remembers.

Jack shakes his head, shrugging Luke's arm off of his shoulders. "It's fine that you did. I don't know why he's bringing my entire life story up right now." He shoots Luke an ice-cold look.
