Love From Afar ~ Eric Nam

Chapter 4

The next day, I invited Eric to come with me to one of the Korean temples in Hanboks. Eric meets up with me at the Hanbok rental store. I told the shopkeeper that my favorite color is blue, and she picked out the perfect Hanbok for me. The shopkeeper chose this Hanbok for me to wear:

"너무 좋아요. 너무 예쁘다." I said, doing a little twirl in the dress(I really like it. It's really pretty)
"Woah, you speak Korean?" Eric asked.
"I've studied it for about 2 years on my own, but I never got to use it. Now that I'm finally here, I can use what I learned." I said.
"Wow, that's awesome." Eric said.
"Now it's your turn to choose a matching Hanbok." I said.
"We're gonna look like a couple." Eric said.
"That's the point." I said, winking at him.
Eric's eyes go wide and his ears go red. Aww, I made him brush.

The shopkeeper chose a matching Hanbok for Eric to wear:

Eric looks so handsome in his Hanbok. He looks super cute in it. Also, he couldn't look more Korean than he does right now. The Hanbok is really doing it for him. Now that we have our Hanboks, we hop in a taxi and head to Bongeunsa Temple. Once we arrive, we get out of the taxi and head into the temple grounds. This really feels like a historical drama in real life. Eric is my royal prince and I'm his princess.

As we're walking together, Eric is holding my hand. Other people who are walking by think we're such a cute couple. Eric and I are just good friends. We haven't even started dating. That would be a whole another story if we were. Then, Eric suggested that we take some pictures together. I loved the idea. We asked someone to take photos of us and they nodded their head. We pose together for photos. We're looking like a real couple right now. Eric takes my face in his hands and kisses me out of nowhere. I kiss him back then pull away.
"What was that for?" I asked.
"It was for the photo." Eric said.
"Spill it. Tell me if you actually like me." I said.
"Okay, fine. I like you. I think you're so cool and down to earth. You're like, the sweetest girl I've ever met. I like everything about you." Eric said.
"So, would you like to be my boyfriend?" I asked.
"Yes." Eric said.
"Wow, this is actually happening. Eric, I'm just a fan of yours. We literally just met yesterday. How do you like me?" I asked.
"Have you ever heard of love at first sight? That happened to your boy." Eric said.
"Ohhh." I said, in realization, "Well, I can't wait to see where this relationship will take us."
"Me too. You're how old again?" Eric asked.
"I'm 18, if that's okay." I said.
"Yeah, I could care less about how old my significant other is. All that matters is their good heart, and you've got a big heart." Eric said.
"Aww, thanks." I said.

With that, Eric and I have become official. Eric went on Instagram and followed me. Then, he changed my contact name in KakaoTalk from Raeshel to My Love❤️‍🔥💞. I also changed Eric's contact in KakaoTalk from Eric to Eric(TheBF)😍🥰. I can't believe I'm actually dating the one and only Eric Nam. We have a 15-year age gap, but that doesn't matter in love. Eric said it himself that he doesn't care about how old his girlfriend is. All that matters is that we love each other for who we truly are. To love each other because we fell in love with their personality. That's all that really matters.

Eric and I spent around an hour at Bongeunsa Temple, then we left to return our Hanboks to the rental shop. Then, Eric treated me to lunch as our first official date as a couple. I'm still trying to process the fact that I'm actually dating my favorite singer. He means everything to me, and now he's my boyfriend. That's so crazy. I allow Eric to order all the food because I'm not confident enough in my Korean to order it myself. Eric easily orders all the food and makes suggestions of what food I should try. I've only really tried K-bbq in America, so I get to try real Korean food today.
"You're one of the people I look up to most, and I can't even process that you're my boyfriend now." I said.
"It'll take some time for you to get used to it, for sure." Eric said.
"You're one of my biggest vocal inspirations. I love you so much." I said.
"Aww, thank you. We should record something together some time." Eric said.
"Oh, can we? I'd love to do that." I said.
"There's a studio that I go to in Gangnam. We can record a new remix of one of my songs so you can be added to it." Eric said.
"That'd be awesome and a dream come true." I said.
"Okay, we'll head to the studio after this." Eric said.
"Okay." I said.
I get to record a new version of one of Eric's songs. This is amazing. I wonder what song we're gonna do. I guess I'll have to see when we get to the studio.
