Dear readers: Super sorry it's been so long. I was gone/busy all week long, and didn't get a chance to do much. I know this isn't too long, but I didn't want to make people wait any longer. I hope you guys understand, and hopefully you like what I did write. Thanks!

Chapter 24
Caitirina~
"Such beautiful hair." One of the little fairies cooed.
"Yes, so shiny...and the color." Another one said as she flipped her own beautiful blond hair in distaste. "Mine will never look so pretty."
"Yours is better than mine." That started a chorus of "No's" and "Your's is way better than mine."
"All of you are beautiful!" I had to yell over them. "Now does someone want to explain to me where exactly I am?" The moment I had appeared in this grand place I hadn't the chance to even get a word in. Much less figure out where I was.
"Ladies, I think I can take over from here." I peered through the veil of fairies and caught a glimpse of an elegant woman. She stood tall with an air of superiority. Her black hair stood out against the paleness of her skin, and her dark blue eyes loomed with kindness. I could feel her power in the air, and had the strongest urge to bow down to her.
The fairies said their goodbyes and flew away.
"How are you darling? Sorry to tear you away from Balaur's so fast, but we couldn't wait much longer." She began to sit down, with nothing to sit on. Just as I thought this a small chair, much like the one I sat on, appeared. I should have known she would be just as magical as everyone else.
"Fine...who are you exactly?"
"Panteră of course," She announced as if I should know. When I didn't reply she gasped and brought her hand to her breast dramatically.
"I can't believe he never told you of me. His own mother." I was about to ask who's mother, but I didn't need too. I stopped and took in her appearance. The dark hair, the beautiful eyes, and there was just something else that reminded me of him. Lorcan.
"You're Lorcan's mother."
She smiled. "Yes." Her smiled turned sad for a moment. "Though it has been awhile since I've actually seen him."
"Why?"
She spread her arms out wide. "I've been stuck in this hell."
"Hell?" I looked at the beauty that surrounded me. "If this is hell, I'd gladly go."
"That's just the thing, I didn't go willingly." She replied softly.
"What?" I asked.
"I'd love to tell you sweetheart, but I fear it is not my place to tell you everything just yet." She patted my leg and stood up. "Now come on, I think there's someone who'd like to see you."

Lorcan~
"Give her to us, and you will live."
Găsitora, seeker for Narishka said as she stood there in all her misery. The power that radiated from her more than made up for her small stature.
"I will never give her to you, she is mine." I replied, even while in my other form she understood me. One of the rare few that could.
"Very well if you will not give her to us, then we will take her."
Suddenly a bright light appeared behind us, I ran to find the place I had left Caitirina and found her gone, and in her place a beautiful glowing light that was slowly dissipating into the air.
"What did you do with her!" Găsitora screeched. Her dark robe rose from her back and morphed into a large pair of wings. They flapped with ease as she rose from the ground and barreled down upon me. She pinned me to the ground, her now clawed hands wrapped themselves around my neck, digging into the fur.
Bal jumped behind me meeting her gaze as he growled. "Lorcan is not your goal, you have no right to harm him or anyone else. Your prey is gone evil seeker, now be gone with you."
She looked as if she wasn't going to follow that rule for a moment, and dug her claws deeper into my neck. But then she screamed in frustration, sounding as if she were a banshee, and threw herself from me and into the air.
"You will regret this Panther. I will come for your little princess, and she will be mine." She turned and flew from the hole in the wall, and disappeared into the sky above.
Bal sniffed the air and, satisfied the she was gone, turned back into his human self. I soon followed, and took his hand when he offered it.
"So where did our little Princess go?"
"The one place I can't...my mother."
