An hour passed after I exited Snape's office, and I think I might've went through the file more than ten times.
I'm not going to say that the information was useless, but it wasn't the most useful either. The only thing that was actually useful was the fact that I now knew in which bar Lily was working.
"Got anything?" asked Severus as he leaned against the door fame
"I do indeed" I replied with a smile before motioning for him to enter the room
Severus sat on the bed and looked up at me, leading on his elbows for support
"Well go on miss" he said to which I rolled my eyes
"Firstly, those letters weren't towards Peter, but towards Harry and Lily" I said and he rose an eyebrow
"Then why did Karkaroff say that they were towards Pettigrew?"
"Because they're coded" I replied before handing him a letter
He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, then he rose an eyebrow, still looking at the papers before his gaze shifted to me
"It's all ones and zeros" he said to which I chuckle
"It's written in binary code, you idiot" I replied
"Binary what?"
"Binary code, it's a code used in digital computers, based on a binary number system in which there are only two possible states, off and on, usually symbolized by 0 and 1. How do you not know that?" I questioned, putting my hands on my hips and furrowing my eyebrows
"Well, because I'm not the brains of every plan" he replied before getting up from the bed, now towering over me "You said that yourself, didn't you, doll?"

"Yes I uhh, mhm, I did" I said before clearing my throat "anyway, I was able to decipher what the letter says" I went on.
I took a paper from the nightstand and gave it to him
"You handwrote it?" he questioned and I shook my head with a chuckle
"Of course not, I have an app that can decode binary, I decoded it on my laptop but I don't have a printer so I had to hand write it on a paper" I replied
Severus read the letter before looking at me
"Good job Aurora, I'm impressed" he said and I felt how my cheeks got red from the praise

"Well, I did it for myself as well Severus" I said, trying to calm myself down
"Still, you did a good job" he said with a genuine smile on his face "I'll go print out a copy and give it to Tom" Severus then kissed my cheek and left the room, leaving me standing there...a blushing mess

Hour have passed and I was taking a bubble bath, a glass of wine in my left hand while my phone was in my right hand, relaxing as I was scrolling through Instagram, not giving a care in the world
But all that stopped when someone knocked on my bathroom door
"What!" I groaned as I placed the wine glass on the sink, thankful that the bath tub was close to it
"I need your help with something" called Snape from the other side of the door
"Well I'm busy" I replied, taking the wine glass and sipping some of the red liquid
"With what?" he asked
"I'm taking a bubble bath, it's me time so like, leave me alone" I said
I'm more than sure that Snape rolled his eyes at my reply "Just come to my room when you're done, I need you to decipher a message for me"
"Mhm, ok" I replied carelessly and then I heard his footsteps fade into the distance

I got out of the bathtub after my phone died and the water got cold and wrapped a towel around my body after drying myself. Luckily my hair was put in a messy bun when I entered the bathtub so there was no need to dry it.
After I got dressed and put my phone to charge I went to Snape's room, knocking on the door as I stood in front of it
"Come in" he said and I obliged
"Sorry took so long" I said with a smile which he reciprocated "what do you need me to decode?" I questioned, sitting down on his bed
"Here" Severus said before handing me a photo, the back of it having text, which had scribbles on top of the letters "Can you decipher it?"
I looked again over the letters, it was Potter's writing no doubt, but it was going to take a while
"I can, but it's gonna take a while, he scribbled everything...unless" I got up from the bed and started looking in his night stands
"What're you doing?" he asked as he crossed his arms
"Looking for a lighter" I replied and he sighed, taking a lighter out of his pocket and giving it to me "Thanks" I said with a smile before turning it on and hovering the picture above it ever so lightly, careful not to burn it
Soon the scribbles disappeared and we were left with a clear text.
"What is it?" asked Severus and I handed him the picture and he widen his eyes "How the fuck..."
"Potter used a pen with erasable ink, and when the ink gets in contact with something warm, it disappears. I don't know how it works but I used to do that in school when I got a bad grade" I chuckled which make him chuckle as well
"So, what does it say?" I asked since I didn't get to read it
"Lily, I'll come by next Sunday, be ready to leave. Yours sincerely, James"
"When was this written?" I asked and he looked at the corner of the letter
"The day before we went to the club, he must've dropped it when he saw Krum"
"Well in that case...we have a bar to raid next Sunday" I smirked
"That we do doll, that we do" he replied, before cupping my jaw and looking at my lips then my eyes
"Just kiss me you asshole" I said and he obliged, or lips meeting in a lustful kiss
And let's just say...I knew this time, this kiss will lead to so much more...
