ꕥ𝐓𝐞𝐧 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫ꕥ

And so ten years have passed since the day I got my revenge, ten beautiful years, and the most peaceful years of my life

A year or so after the Slytherins took over the Gryffindor group, Severus decided to leave the gang, giving his leadership back to Lucius, and I left with him

We, of course, are still in contact with all the others, but are much safer, not worrying about the danger from our lives

In these ten years my relationship with Severus grew a lot, and after two years of being together he proposed to me, and I must say that, saying yes was the best decision that I had made

December 25th, Christmas morning

I stirred in the bed as I was starting to wake up, feeling a hand wrapped around my waist, spooning me

"Good morning, my love" Severus whispered in the crook of my neck

"Good morning Sev" I whispered back before turning around, his hand now resting on my back as my front was pressed against his chest

"How did you sleep?" He asked, looking at me and putting a strand of hair behind my ear

"Is 'I still wanna sleep' a good enough answer?" I said to which he chuckled

"If you're still tired go back to bed" he cooed before pecking my forehead

"I would...but the baby doesn't let me" I chuckled before kissing him on the lips

Ten weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant —

"Mommy! Daddy!"

— With my second child

"Morning" Katherine, my five year old, beamed as she came into our room

"Morning Kathy" Severus smiled, patting his lap for her to get on the bed

"Morning baby" I smiled softly

Katherine got on the bed and then jumped on it

"It's Christmas!" She said excitedly "can I go open my presents?"

"Of course you can doll" Severus smiled "but just, wait for me and mommy to get dressed, then we can all open them together"

"Otay!" She smiled and stopped jumping on the bed

She then kissed both me and Severus on the cheek before getting out of the room, her fluffy bunny slippers tapping against the oak wood floor

"Kids...a nuisance and blessing at the same time" Severus groaned softly to which I chuckled

"Well, there's another nuisance and blessing growing into me" I said and he smirked before getting under the cover, making me furrow my eyebrows before I felt how he kissed my stomach

"And I'm sure I'll love it as much as I love you and Katherine" he said, pulling the covers off of him

To say that I wasn't blushing would be a lie, because I felt that I was red as a tomato

"This is all very cute Sev, but I have a baby pressing against my bladder and I need to pee" I said and he chuckled, getting out of bed

"Alright well, you do that, I'll go to Kathy"
