I woke up the next day with Aurora sleeping on my chest and my arms wrapped around her body.
A soft and small smile appeared on my face as I looked at her sleeping figure, putting a strand of hair behind her ear before kissing her forehead
"Stop staring" she mumbled, taking me by surprise
"And what if I don't want to?" I said with a small smirk
Aurora then opened her eyes and looked at me unamused
"You're an asshole, you know that, right?" she said and I chuckled
"I've been called worse but yes...I know that" I replied
"I'm going to take a shower" said Aurora before pulling the covers off of her and getting up
"I would say something but don't want to give you an ick" I said and she rolled her eyes
"No, you can't join and nor am I in the mood for sex, not a fan of morning intercourse" Aurora said
"Alright then, have fun in your shower, you can use my bathroom if you wish" I told her
"Thanks, but I'm using my own bathroom" she remarked before giving me a smile, picking up her clothes from the floor and leaving my room...with my shirt on...
I let out a soft sigh and then got up as well...a stray thought coming in my mind
Was it too early to say that I was in love with her?
୨˚̣̣̣͙୧ –𝐀𝐔𝐑𝐎𝐑𝐀– ୨˚̣̣̣͙୧
After I left Severus's room I immediately went and took a shower, not because I felt disgusted that Severus touched me, but because I felt dirty and sweaty.
As I stepped into the shower and the water hit my skin, I couldn't help but think why didn't Severus wake me up when he woke up.
But that thought quickly left my mind as another one took its place.
Someone definitely told James about the fact that we'll come at Hogsmeade, but question was, who?
The only people who knew about the plan were me, Severus, Tom and Bellatrix along with Lucius and his wife, and then, obviously, the other Death Eaters who were involved.
Regulus knew about the plan too, but he didn't come to the Headquarters yesterday and it couldn't be him...he knew thorough how much pain I went when my mother died and he knew that I was looking forward to catch Potter and be done with the deal.
And as those thoughts ran through my head, a knock on the bathroom door made me snap out of them.
"Yes?!" I called out in an inquisitive tone, turning the water down slightly
"I brought you your breakfast, it's on the bed" Severus's voice spoke from behind the door
"Alright, thanks" I replied "oh and I'll give you the shirt when I'm out of the shower"
"Keep it" Severus said which took me by surprise "I don't need it"
And with that I heard how his steps faded away into the distance.
That was...a bit weird...
I shrugged off the incident however and turned the water back on, finishing my shower after a few moments
When I got out I ate my breakfast and after I was dressed I decided to go out for a drink and I was about to leave, only to see Severus standing in front of my door
"Where are you going?" Severus asked me with a rose eyebrow
"I'm going out to drink, why?" I replied confused
"Were...you're not going anymore" he smirked which made me raise an eyebrow at him
"And who are you to tell me where I can and can't go?" I questioned
"I'm the one who owns you...puppet" Severus chuckled before putting a hand around my throat "now be a good girl and wait for me in the office"
"I'm not sucking you off Severus" I said and he shook his head
"I wasn't talking anything about sex" he said, taking his hand away from my throat "just wait in the office, okay?"
"Okay..." I said suspiciously before walking out my room
I then walked towards his office, and when I opened the door, confetti flew in the air.
"Happy birthday!" Bellatrix and Narcissa along with Tom, Lucius and Regulus shouted in unison
To say I was shocked would be the truth, I've been so busy with the mission that I've forgotten about my birthday
"Happy birthday Aurora" Severus said, standing behind me, looking at me with a gentle gaze
"Thank you Severus" I said, looking at him, then I looked at the others "and thank you guys too"
"Well, if it wasn't for Severus to remind us that your birthday was today, we too would've forgotten" chuckled Lucius
"You remembered?" I said as I looked at him
"Yes, yes I did" Severus said which for some reason made me blush.
"Thank you for that" I said before looking to the others "and thank you for the surprise"
"It was our pleasure" said Narcissa
We then all started celebrating my birthday.
