Four weeks have passed and I started getting used to Severus, and to my dismay, he was actually quite sweet when he wanted to be.

Three weeks ago we started sleeping in the same bed, even without the two of us having intercourse, and whenever I'd wake up in the middle of the night due to the same cursed nightmare that haunted me, Severus was always there to put me back to sleep with cuddles, and would always wake me up in the morning with soft kisses pampered on my forehead or shoulders (depending in which position I was sleeping)

From all these sweet acts I'd say that he was in love with me, but that would be stupid, he was just being sweet...Or at least that's what my brain was saying, because my heard was more than sure that he was in love with me...but was I? that I still don't know...

As for the mission of looking for Potter and my mother's murderer...it wasn't going well...It was like James was always one step ahead of us, escaping from right under our noses with his wife and child

So, we started keeping the information between the most trusted people, which included me, obviously Severus, Lucius, Tom, Bellatrix and only a few Death Eaters along with Regulus...and yet James was still ahead of us

"For shit's sake!" Severus spat as he slammed the door to his office open

"Severus, try and calm down for a moment please" said Bellatrix as me, along with her, Lucius and Tom entered the office

"How can I calm down, Bellatrix when Potter is always ahead of us! It's like someone is fucking spying on us!" Severus told her

"What if someone is?" Lucius questioned after he closed the door "none of the people in this room like James...however...Regulus—"

"—His brother is James's right hand man..." Went on Tom

"Hold up" I butted in, the four of them looking at me "Why would Regulus do that?"

"To help his brother" Severus replied bluntly

"But he knows why I am helping and why I'm doing all of this..."

"Mind leaving us for a moment?" Severus told the other three who nodded and then left, leaving me and Severus alone in his office

"What is it?" I questioned

"I don't want to burst your bubble, Aurora...but I think Regulus is being two faced...you saw how he ran out of the room after talking with Sirius..."

"And I saw him the next day with red, puffy eyes..." I whispered

"I think we should keep stuff secret from him, until the next mission...and if it goes bad as well, then we need to thoroughly look through the group" Severus explained

"Alright then...do you want me to tell Regulus?" I said and Severus shook his head

"No-one will tell Regulus...we'll make two plans, one of them he'll be aware of while the other will be a secret between the five of us"
