"I'M SORRY! I DON'T MEAN TO DO THIS! HE'S MAKING ME DO IT!" Janice was shouting as she kept trying to scratch at Jurg, who was fending off several vampires trying to do the same.
"WHO IS?!" Jurg shouted back.
"IT'S LEE! YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE COME BACK! HE'S GOING TO KILL YOU TOO!" Janice continued to shout in response.
"GET BACK IF YOU CAN!" Jurg shouted at Janice again as he was beginning to ready a flame spell. Janice didn't move away, she was unable to. As Jurg readied the spell he told Turg "I'm sorry Turg, but it has to be done if you want to live."
Jurg casted the flame on the ground, causing it to spread outwards in a circle and hit everyone near him. It was very effective. Unfortunately Janice was affected and turned into a pile of ash with the others, but Jurg knew he could have her revived later. The ones who weren't close enough to get caught in the flames all froze up, not knowing what to do. Jurg looked back over at Grim, who was supposed to be with Jim Pickett The I but he had disappeared, and told him "If you can, take Janice, I need her revived later."
"I can try." Grim responded as Jurg heard Leehoimen's voice again demand "What are you all standing around for? Kill him! Ignore the Reaper!"
The remaining vampires still did not move, they saw what Jurg was capable of and were resisting. Perhaps Leehoimen wasn't controlling all of them. Jurg then shouted "NO! COME FIGHT ME AND QUIT COWERING AWAY!"
"Ha! You'll never find me!" Leehoimen responded as Jurg went over to Grim and told them "Track him down."
"Follow me." Grim told Jurg in response as they grabbed Jurg by the hand and started leading him to where they believed Leehoimen was. As Grim hurried through the long hallways, Jurg made an effort to set fire to everything he could just to spite Leehoimen. He felt himself getting more warm as he continued to do that, meaning it was a good idea to slow down on the fire spells. They eventually found him on the bottom floor of one of the towers.
"Oh, you two found me." Leehoimen said upon their arrival. He then summoned his staff and looked at Grim while saying "At least I can easily deal with you."
Grim then disappeared before Leehoimen could send them back to the afterlife, leaving Jurg with him. Leehoimen then said "Or I guess not."
He looked at Jurg and asked "Are you actually Jim? If so then I'm sorry for saying you should marry him."
"You should be sorry for much more than that." Jurg responded as he readied another flame spell. While still holding the staff, Leehoimen put his hands up a bit and told Jurg "Okay fine, sorry for burning your house down or whatever."
"YOU KILLED ME!" Jurg shouted as he casted the spell on Leehoimen, but it had no effect on him. Leehoimen laughed at Jurg as he tried again, he forgot that his spells seemed to have no effect on Leehoimen.
"You really think you can win this?" Leehoimen asked rather threateningly as the red orb on his staff started to glow. Jurg wasn't 100% confident in his ability but he was going to try anyways. Dying was the worst thing that could've happened, or so he thought. Before Jurg could give a witty and clever reply, Leehoimen grabbed him by the arm and pulled on him, transporting Jim into the void somehow. It was dark, empty and Jim was himself there, he wasn't controlling Turg anymore.
"Should've picked a better magic class to master." Jim heard Leehoimen tell him from somewhere in the void as he stood up straight. Jim got that a lot, but he only chose fire because he liked watching things burn. He was looking around for Leehoimen, but he was nowhere to be seen.
"Why are you doing this?" Jim asked into the void as Leehoimen replied "I'm only doing what is necessary."
Jim was still confused so he asked again "Why is all of this necessary? What the hell are you planning?"
"That's not important to you." Leehoimen replied again before asking Jim "I gotta ask you this before I send you to the netherworld or whatever, but do you think Turg would marry my brother? I mean, he looks exactly like you and has gotten over his hatred spontaneously."
Jim didn't like what Leehoimen was implying with that question. Leehoimen then elaborated "Like, I would love to have some turg blood in the family for the next generation of Picketts, though they're both males so I don't know how that'll work."
Jim knew ways around that, but he would never subject Turg to that, never even once thought about it. Jim told Leehoimen, who was not present physically still, "You're disgusting."
"Says you. I've heard what goes on inside your mind, you are way hornier than I thought you were." Leehoimen responded as Jim then exclaimed "Then stay out of my mind ya creep!"
"It wasn't me, it was my friends. I just needed certain pieces of information about you that I knew you weren't going to share." Leehoimen told Jim as he started to feel something crawling on him. Leehoimen then added "Mainly your fears."
Jim would then become covered in many spiders. He wasn't entirely afraid of spiders, he just really hated them and killed them on sight. He lit himself on fire to get rid of them, the fire couldn't hurt him in the void. Neither could the spiders but still. Jim heard Leehoimen laugh at him as he shouted "THIS ISN'T FUNNY!"
"Oh, so it's only funny if you do it to others?" Leehoimen asked Jim. Jim couldn't think of a response, Leehoimen did make a great point, though he was still unsure of what Leehoimen was trying to prove. Then suddenly the void turned into an actual place Jim recognized, his old desert home, the Sandtrap Flats. He was watching himself from third person laugh at someone's demise after he had lit them on fire. Then the location changed to another where Jim had found amusement from other's suffering and it continued until Jim finally said "Okay, I get it. I was a shitty person."
"That you were, and still are but not as bad." Leehoimen responded as Jim was back in the empty void, though Leehoimen was there with him that time. Leehoimen then turned into First Name, specifically the demon form, and added "It was this little guy who made you realize it."
Jim started backing away and demanded "Stop it. Now."
"No, I don't think I will." Leehoimen replied with a big smile on his face. Then more of them started appearing, all surrounding and mocking Jim. They were so loud and they all spoke of his atrocities. Jim closed his eyes and covered his ears to try to block it out, but it wasn't helping much. He felt himself begin to heat up as he became more angry and eventually lashed out. He took his hands off his ears while shouting "ENOUGH OF THIS!"
As he shouted flames dispersed around him, causing all of the cursed children to disappear and Leehoimen turn back into his usual self.
"WHEN I GET MY LIFE BACK I WILL MAKE SURE YOURS ENDS IN THE MOST BRUTAL WAY I CAN MAKE POSSIBLE!" Jim shouted again, trying to threaten Leehoimen. Leehoimen nervously laughed before responding "You wouldn't kill me, right? I'm still part of the family, you don't have much family left."
Jim came closer to Leehoimen while still maintaining eye contact and asked him "I killed my own father, what makes you think I won't do the same to you?"
Leehoimen backed away from Jim and replied "Good point, you've already tried more than once."
"I will raise hell on you." Jim threatened Leehoimen again as a wall of flames appeared behind Jim. Leehoimen then said quietly "Oh shit, you've figured it out."
Jim looked behind him to see that he had summoned a wall of flames by just thinking about it, or something similar at least. He then thought about it turning into an actual ring of fire, and it did. Jim turned back around to say to Leehoimen "Seems like I did."
