"Don't make a sound!" She whispered again, then walked to the door. She leaned against it and listened to the sound outside, then stepped back to the bed and said, "I have a headache! I feel too lazy to get up! Hurry up and take a shower, you have to go to work quickly, don't you?"

No sound from outside. Jennie quietly walked to the door again and pressed her ear against it. As expected, there was no sound.

That was probably because Kai didn't want to argue with her again, so he left. Jennie let out a faint sigh. She then turned around to look at Lisa, who had a faint smile on his face.

Knowing that he was just standing there watching a good show, Jennie smugly said in a low voice, "How about that? You yourself see I managed to send him away. I can handle my own brother so easily."

"Is this how you fooled him since he was young?" Lisa's words and smile was laced with a few hints of mockery.

Jennie's expression froze. Then he said sarcastically, "Of course, the brother's temperament follows his sister's temperament. His sister is a fool and easily deceived."

F * ck! It seemed like Lisa was trying to ridicule her intelligence!

Jennie was about to reply when she suddenly heard a crisp sound. Before she could react, the door she was leaning on was pushed open from the outside.

As soon as Kai opened the door, he found that the door was blocked with heavy objects. He then realized that Jennie was leaning against it, which made him more suspicious. He pushed the door hard until the door was completely opened.

As soon as he stepped through the door, he came face to face with Lisa.

Jennie looked at him with astonishment.

While Lisa remained calm and composed as before, however, the moment his gaze landed on Kai's face, the emotion between his eyebrows changed slightly, but it disappeared in the blink of an eye.

"How did you get in?!" Jennie stared at Kai with her mouth agape.

Kai didn't say anything. His cold gaze was still fixed on Lisa as he silently threw a key at her.

Jennie immediately raised her hand to receive the key thrown at her. She lowered her head to look at it before raising her head speechlessly.

She laughed and tried to ignore the fact that this was Kai's home. How could he not have a spare key to her bedroom! How did she not know that Kai had become as scheming as Lisa!

"Who is he?"

What was rare was that Kai didn't get angry. His voice was so calm that it didn't sound like him. He looked coldly at the calm and collected Lisa.

Jennie suddenly seemed to recall something and looked at Lisa, As expected, although there was no shock on his face, he was still staring at Kai's face! The two of them were at least twenty or thirty percent alike, and the resemblance between Kai and Goong Min was even greater. Even she had noticed it long ago, so how could Lisa not have noticed at all?

Jennie did not reply. Kai forcibly shifted his gaze away from the man who looked similar to him. He looked at Jennie with eyes full of accusation. "Why is he here?! And at this time? In your room so early in the morning?!"

Jennie could feel the anger emanating from Kai. She opened her mouth, but before she could speak, Kai forcibly opened the door and headed for the living room.

Jennie's stiffened from the loud sound of her door being thrown against the wall. She turned her head to look at Lisa, but the latter only looked at her indifferently.

She couldn't see through Lisa's thoughts. She didn't know if he saw anything on Kai's face, but even though it seemed like nothing, she could feel that there was some deeper meaning behind Lisa's expression.

Jennie took a deep breath and ran into the living room. Kai was already standing there, waiting for her.

"Kai! Don't misunderstand! I only locked the door because–"

"Who is he?" Kai cut her and coldly looked at her, his face already unnaturally livid.

Jennie had never seen Kai this angry before, at least he had always been joking with her. After all these years, neither of them had ever fallen out with each other and even though she knew that he would get angry when he knew about this, but she didn't expect him to be so angry.

Jennie quickly grabbed his arm and said, "He is –"

"I'm Lisa." A clear and serene voice came from behind her.

Kai and Jennie were both stunned. In the blink of an eye, the anger within Kai's body dissipated by more than half.

"You can call me brother-in-law." Without waiting for any reaction from the two siblings, Lisa curved his lips into a faint smile and gave Kai a carefree smile.

It was as if he was always like this, calm and unperturbed, without a shred of arrogance or intent to do anything that could instantly extinguish the flames of war that were burning fiercely.

It was as if his simple and quiet words instantly suppressed the anger that erupted from Kai.

Just like a drop of sweet dew in a drought, refreshing and cleansing.

Yes, he was Lisa. Because he was Lisa, there was nothing wrong with him appearing in Jennie's room.

Jennie's hand was still on Kai's arm, and she could feel the tension on his muscles. She carefully pinched his arm, causing him to look down at her and see her nod.

Kai sucked in a deep breath as if he was overwhelmed with anger. When he raised his head to look at Lisa, who was walking towards them, a complicated expression appeared on his face.
