This is dedicated to my best freind! Its her birthday! Happy brithday Lexi Bear! :)

*a week later*

“Soooo Lou?” Liam asks. “Who have you been texting so much?” We were driving back from the mall and Lou had been texting 24/7.

“Well there’s this girl...” Lou says slowly.

“And its not me?!?” Harry gasps.

“No,” Lou giggles “her name is Lexi and she really nice.” Everyone starts ooooo-ing and teasing. Lou starts to blush.

“Lous got a girlfriend! Lous got girlfriend!” Niall sings.

“Loui and Lexi sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!” everyone sings and starts making kissy faces at Lou. Lou starts to flush pink and everyone starts laughing.

“Yeah maybe if you guys would stop making kissy faces and acting like three year olds-“Lou starts.

“Says Lou,” Liam smirks.

“Hey!” Lou says, pretending to be offended “well maybe you would hear that I asked her out. TONIGHT.” Everyone starts ooooo-ing again

“So watcha gonna wear?” Julie asks.

“Ummm probably this,” Loui says and points to his clothes. I gasp.

“NO!” Julie protests “you AREN’T going there in that! Its you’re first date! You are going to wear something nice!”

“Idea!” I say and look at Julie.

“MAKEOVER!” we scream. Loui looks scared. We start to laugh like weirdo’s. I am almost positive everyone in the car was looking at me like I’m crazy.

*At the house*

“This?” I ask, holding up an outfit. Loui was in the shower and Julie and I were deciding on what he should wear. Julie shakes her head. I keep holding up outfits and she keeps shaking her head. I hold up one last outfit. A black blazer with a white shirt and jeans.

“Perfect!” Julie exclaims. Loui walks out of the bathroom, drying his hair.

“There. I showered. Now what?” Loui sighs.

“Try this on,” Julie says and hands him the outfit. “And go do your hair.”

Loui comes out in the blazer and red jeans. Julie takes off his glasses.

“Perfect” she says. Lou goes to get his jacket but trips and falls over the couch. I run over and help him up

“I think you need these,” I say and hand him his glasses. Lou nods and puts on his glasses.

“The world isn’t a big blurry dot!” he yells. Harry comes running up.

“What now Lou…OMG! What happened to Loui?”

“I’m not Loui…” Lou says “SUPERMAN!” and rips off his shirt.

“Go on… You’re gonna be late!” I giggle and push him to the door.

“Oh right!” Lou says

*Lou’s POV*

I hop in my car and speed off. I can’t be late. I lean out the window and picture myself in The Script’s music video. I pull up in front of Lexi’s flat. I realize I forgot flowers. I see Lexi’s mom has a huge flower bed in the front. I carefully step through the bed, picking daisies and roses as I go along. I try to arrange them the best I can. Wiping the dirt off my TOMS, I ring her doorbell. She opens the door, in a pair of jeans & a striped shirt & a pair of TOMS. Wow. She’s like a she version of me! I snap out my thoughts and hand her the flowers, feeling a light blush creep up on my cheeks. She giggles.

“You look… Beautiful,” I whisper. Why am I so nervous? I’m Louis Tomlinson!

“You look pretty amazing yourself,” she giggles. I lead her to the car and we get in. “So where are we going?” she asks.

“The park” I say, stopping at a red light.

“Why? It’s almost dark!” She says.

“I want to show you…Something,” I say.

We stop at the park. There’s no streetlights in the park so its pitch black.

“Why are we…” she asks. I lead her over to a grass field where the little kids play football. We talk for a bit but then the magic happens. One by one, the little flickering lights come out. The fireflies start from the trees lining the field and move towards the center of the field. I see Lexi’s eyes glow with wonder and gasp.

“I was the same way,” I say. Our hands brush. “Sorry,” I say and move my hand.

“Leave it,” she says. Soon our fingers find each other and I entwine my fingers with hers. She rests her head on my shoulder.

“C’mon,” I say and pull her with me to the center of the field and try to catch the blinking lights. Lexi giggles and joins me. A firefly lands in her hair and she squeals. I start to laugh and ruffle her hair. The firefly leaves her curls and joins the others in the air. I try to catch the fireflies with my hands.

“I got one!” I say, cupping my hands together. I open my hands to see but the firefly flies right past my nose, making me sneeze.

“Aww you sneeze like a kitten!” she giggles. I can feel the blush creeping up on my cheeks again. “You’re so cute, Tomlinson!” she says. The rest of the time we spend catching fireflies and dancing. I wrap my arms around her waist and she wraps her arms around my neck. I smile and she rests her head on my chest. We dance to our own rhythm, Slow and romantic. I’m tongue tied over three words. We eventually get tired and lay on the grass to gaze at the hundreds of stars.

“And that’s the big dipper,” she says, point to the group of stars.

“It looks like a spoon. Not a dipper, what ever that is.” I say. Lexi starts to giggle.

“I bet Liam must hate the big dipper,” she says.

“You’re a fan?” I ask, propping my self up on my elbow.

“Ever since X-Factor,” she says, not moving her gaze from the stars. I crawl over to her so I am right over her.

“Was I you’re favorite?” I ask

“You ARE my favorite Loui,” she says, poking my nose. I fall back across from her, relieved.

After a while, I look over and realize Lexi has fallen asleep. I scoop her up and carry her back to the car. I drive to her house and use her key to get it. Creepy? A little. But I can’t let my Lexi bear freeze. It gets cold in London. I carry her up to her room and set her down on her bed. I look around. Posters of me and the lads. Hearts were drawn around my face on some. Others had signs of lipstick on them. I kiss her forehead and leave a note saying that she fell asleep and I carried her home. I stand over her for a few minutes, memorizing her face. The faded pink streaks in her dirty blonde curls that go to her shoulders, her soft lips, her small little ears. Is it me or does everyone look younger when they sleep? I wish I could stop this moment and live in it forever. It’s one of those rare moments of happiness. No management, no school, nothing but me and her. I wish it could stay happy forever.
