Journey's Through Starfire - Book 1

The beginning of the journey

"The trees were blowing furiously as I ran, I couldn't help it though...I had to escape before they got to me." thought Zara.

Zara was running while her hands started to spark and flicker with flames and the occasional glimpses of sparks and ice, but she stopped suddenly when she seen the Blackguard's forest base and realized that she was surrounded.

"Well, well, well so we meet again. Zara." Said General Force.

"Oh don't worry I won't be here long." said Zara

"I don't think so. Not this time." the General said.

Zara formed a small ice orb in her hand and threw it at the army's feet and they froze to the ground while the army started shouting at the General to help them as Zara ran off.

"You won't be free forever! We will get you sooner or later!" The General shouted.

Zara mumbled to herself as she was running off, "Then I will enjoy my freedom while I can...father." and then she shot a bolt of lightning into the distance and disappeared.

~Present time- April 11, 3090- Starfire Galaxy--Planet Wolfwater~Zara pov~

I closed my journal after reading about the day it all started. It's been 6 years since the day Guardians started to disappear, and since the day I last saw my real father; The General of Wolfwater Army.

"Zara! Jayden! Raiden! Get down here!" Yelled Zayden; Zara's step-father.

I pick up my school bag and flip down the 2 story staircase without hurting myself while my step-brothers rush down the stairs to catch up with me.

"How do you do that without hurting yourself?" asked Jayden.

"It is called practicing Jayden, you should do that more often. You could use the practice, haha!" I said.

"Okay you two enough let's go now or we will miss the bus!" Raiden said.

"Fine." Jayden and I say, "Race ya!"

"Wait what?! No fair!" Raiden shouted as they all ran out.

"Silly kids.." Zayden said to himself while closing the door behind them.

~No longer Zara's pov~

Zara, Jayden, and Raiden get onto the school bus and ride to school; now some back knowledge about them at school, Jayden and Raiden are twins but Jayden dyed his hair blue and Raiden's hair is red and they are some of the most popular kids at school. Zara, on the other hand is a year younger than them but in the same grade and she has purple and blue hair. That and Zara has no friends at school. She gets picked on a lot but her brothers don't know that.

~Back to Zara's POV~

"See you at lunch Zara!" Raiden and Jayden said as they walked off to find their friends.

"Yeah..see ya.." Zara said and then she walked off to class.

~Time skip to the last hour of the day~

"Okay class, settle down and take your seats.." said Zara's favorite teacher; Mr. Skyden.

Everyone sits down by their friends other than Zara. She is in the very back of the class with no one sitting near her, at least until a new boy walked into the classroom. He was a little bit taller than her, with pure black hair, a light blue jacket and some matching jeans to go with it.

"Why hello, you must be new here. Right?" Mr. Skyden asked.

"Yes, I came here from the other side of town." he stated, "where do I sit?" said the boy.
