After two weeks of acting like Zoren and I are in love with each other my father lets us leave. Which means, it's time to tell my friends the truth.
"Hey Zara! Your back! Who's that?" Shadow says.
Zoren puts an arm around Zara. "I'm Zoren, I'm a Guardian like you all."
"Nice to meet you." The guys say.
"Um so guys..I've been keeping a secret from you all, that I have to come clean about."
"Okay go ahead Zara." Titan says
"So, I had made a deal with my father that if I did one thing for him he would leave us all alone, and the task he wanted me to do." Zara starts shaking and gets nervous.
"The task was for us to get a date for our freedom and everyone else's." Zoren finishes.
Titan, Draiten, Shadow, and stare at them in complete shock.
"Y-Your not serious right?" says.
"I'm being serious .." Zara says.
"Why didn't you tell us?!" Shadow says.
"I was scared! I was scared that you all would get mad at me, or get killed." Zara says to them
"Did you tell anyone?!" Shadow asks
"I told Sophie and Jake, I told them to keep it a secret until I was ready to tell you all. And don't get mad at them for doing that."
"Not get mad?! I'm mad not at them but at you! You kept this whole thing a secret! We have been friends for a while now and you don't tell me?!" Shadow shouts.
Tears start to form in Zara's eyes and Zoren notices. "Hey, stop yelling at her if you were her friends you would support her. Neither of us wanted to do it but we did it for all of the Guardians out there." Zoren says to Shadow and the others.
"You don't have a say in this! You took Zara from us!" they say.
"I never planned too! Besides we don't have to stay together! Only for a few months!"
Zoren and the others start to argue again when they hear Zara shout, "Enough! I am so sick of this! You are always fighting over me! I can make my own choices and you guys are just being selfish for not supporting me on my decisions! I'm sorry okay?! I'm sorry for not telling you all, I'm sorry for meeting you, I'm sorry for saving you, and I'm sorry for existing!" Zara runs over to the treehouse leaving the others in complete silence while Zoren starts shouting for her to come back.
"Zara? Are you okay? We heard shouting." Jake asks.
"Don't worry about it, okay?" Zara says.
"Okay.." Jake says.
Sophie, Jake and Zara were talking when they heard the guys calling for Jake and Sophie.
"You guys better go..I'll be fine."
"Okay..good night Zara." Sophie says.
"Good night you two."
"Um Zara? Are you sleeping here?"Jake asks
"Yeah, I don't want to go inside." Zara says back.
"Alright, well..be safe and see you in the morning." Sophie and Jake say as they walk down the ladder and to the house.
Once they leave Zara pulls out a photo from her pocket, it was the last photo Zayden, Jayden, Raiden, herself and her mother; Elizabeth took before Elizabeth died. After looking at it for a few moments Zara starts to sing; Lost in thought: A song that she had written a year ago.
Zoren, Draiten, and Titan walk to the treehouse and hear Zara singing so they keep quiet.
Zara finishes singing and puts the photo away and then she hears Titan's voice.
"Zara? Could we speak to you?"
"Why? So you guys can yell at me? The only one I somewhat trust is Zoren. He hasn't yelled at me about it, he's on my side about this." Zara says back
"Zara, they are on our side as well, they are just as mad at Shadow and as we are. Just let us up." Zoren says.
"Fine.."
