Minute #1: Sodden Streets

23 1 1

A forlorn glee

I relish so

While walking slow

Soaked to the skin and lost in thought

My mind runs hot

With nasty things

That failure brings

This rain on my skin is a chill

I cannot kill

But still I walk

From block to block
