You Complete Me

Chapter 8

We arrived at our destination according to Luke, since he blindfolded me. "Luke where are we?" I say with a small laugh.
"You'll see. Oh and my name is Dallas now, not Luke. Pretty rad huh?"
"Very. Now can we go? And if this is some fancy shit I'm out. I'm not dressed for it."
"It's not fancy. Look." He took off my blindfold and I stood there in awe. We were in a private place, but somewhere outside. There were lights hanging from the trees and a picnic set up in the middle of two.
"Luke... Did you set this up?" I look at him with a wide grin in my eyes. He nods and hugs me from the side.
"Just for you." He looks at me, smiles, then looks at the lights. His eyes glimmer and shine and I feel the butterflies in my stomach going crazy. "My lady, I have brought us sandwiches and juice boxes." He says bowing down and gesturing me to sit down.
"Perfect." I saw giggling and curtseying. He smiles and joins in on my giggles before sitting after me. "You're such gentleman Lu- I mean Dallas."
"Thank you Leslie. You're such a...fancy...woman... I'm sorry I'm not good at flirting and I'm really shy." He looks down and turns red with embarrassment. I crawl over to him and give him a kiss on the cheek.
"It's okay. I like you how you are." He looks at me and smiles. After eating our dinner, he leads me to another part of the park where there was an open field. However, I heard music starting. It was the start of "Beside You". I looked to where the sounds were coming from and saw the most astonishing thing. It was the rest of the band. Calum, Michael, and Ashton. I felt my heart jump and I got so excited, I squealed. Luke grabs my hand with his left and my waist with his right.
"Have you ever slow danced before?" I shake my head and look down embarrassed.
"Nope. Have you?"
"Hah no. But glad you're my first slow dance partner." I smile and put my head on his shoulder.
Michael interupts Calum's verse and says, "GET SOME LUKE!" I look at him and laugh.
"My name's Dallas! Get it right!" He giggles and looks at me.
"Whatever. GET SOME DALLAS!" Luke shakes his head and looks down.
"Luke... I think I love you." We stop dancing and gaze into each others eyes.
"Well that's good. Cuz I know I love you." He kisses me and I can hear the boys "yow"ing.
