Chapter 9

The next day, I woke up beside Luke and with the guys crashed out on my couch. I remember the drive home being really long and I was really tired so I slept in the car. Had Luke carried me to my bed? I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I stayed there for a few seconds then decided to make us breakfast. I got out the eggs, bacon, and pancake batter.
"Morning Leslie!" Yelled Michael loud enough that he woke up the rest of the guys.
"Morning Michael!" I said.
"Call me Mikey. We're family now since you're dating my brother. By the way Luke's hair. THANK YOU! I've been trying to get him to dye it, but he wouldn't!"
"Now we can finally be punk rock!" Yelled Ashton.
"Shut up Ash, your giggle is holding us back." Calum jokes, walking to the kitchen. "Whatcha cookin?"
"Eggs, bacon and pancakes." I said smiling.
"Need help?" Michael said getting up from the couch.
"No it's fine. I've cooked breakfast before." I said chuckling.
"No c'mon we'll help out a bit." Said Ashton. Calum nodded and started helping with the bacon. Ashton grabbed the batter and started mixing it and Michael got out a blender and started making milkshakes.
"Well since you guys already are I guess..." We laugh and Luke comes out of the hall with sleepy eyes. He smiles and I smile back.
"Cooking already? You wake up really early too." I nod and laugh.
"Yes I know. School has me really messed up." He lets out a small laugh and decides that he wants to help as well. "There's nothing left. We finished already. Just sit I'll serve the plates guys." They groan.
"We can do that, you don't have to."
"Its my house so I kinda do." The boys decide that I win and sit at the dining table. As soon as I handed them their plates they dug in. "Haven't eaten in a while guys?"
"It's been daaaaays." Says Michael. They all mumble in agreement.
"How'd you guys get here anyway? Luke said all the flights were booked and you guys couldn't get a private jet." They all looked at him.
Then Calum said, "uh yea he lied just to be with you a little longer." Luke nudged him. "What it's true!" Luke got red and stared at the food.
"Awww really?" I pouted and he looked up at me. He blushed.
"Yeaaaa... Calum what the hell? That's embarrassing."
"But she liked it so you're welcome." I laughed.
"So are you guys gonna stay here too?"
"Mhm," They said, "don't worry we'll help out around here. Also, where are your pare-"
"Not here Ash. No more questions guys eat!" Luke sounded protective and cute.
After breakfast, Michael pulled me to the side while the guys were watching TV in the living room.
"Have you ever... Hurt yourself in any way?" Shit. Had he seen my scars? They were only three, but they were still there. I tried to keep calm and act normal.
"No? Why?" He got my arm and lifted up my sleeve.
"That's why." I pull it back down. "Leslie...why? Are you going through something? Do you need someone?"
"It's nothing I haven't done it since a while now. And no everything is perfectly okay. I was just being dumb and... I don't know." Suddenly my heart dropped. What if he tells Luke? "Don't tell Luke about this! If he finds out I-" I started shaking, but Michael grabbed me.
"It's okay. Don't worry. I won't tell him." He hugs me. "It'll be okay, just, promise me you won't do it again?" I nod. "Say you promise."
"I promise Michael."
"Hey, what'd I say about my name? Call me Mikey. We're family remember?" He gives me a smile and we head back to the boys.
"What was that?" Ashton said raising his eyebrows.
"Stop, she's mine Ash! Michael back off!" Luke said jokingly.
Michael put his hands in the air and walked slowly away from me."Don't shoot." He said. Luke grabs me and sits me down next to him.
"What happened with Mikey?" He had a worried look in his eyes.
"Oh nothing haha." I kiss him to calm him down. He still looked worried. "Luke, nothing happened don't look so scared."
"Promise nothing happened?"
"I promise Luke."
