You Complete Me

Chapter 7

"Luke. I didn't know you felt like this towards me. I'm not special. Why did you kiss me?" Luke holds me tighter and hugs me tight.
"It seemed right. Like I was meant to do it. And you are special. Ever since I climbed through your window I thought something was gonna happen between us that would change my life. And something did. And it'll change my life for the better. I'm not ready to say that I love you yet. But I'm getting closer every time I see you smile." I grow teary eyed as Luke holds me. His words came out perfect. He was perfect.
"You are such a dork." I say sniffling. "But you're my dork." I kiss him one more time. Just a peck on the lips, nothing serious. "Wanna cuddle and watch movies?" He says. I nod.
"I'll order the pizza. Topping?"
"Pepperoni." We say in unison. I grab the phone and order the pizza. The next few hours were mostly just horror movies and pizza eating on the couch until I finally fell asleep on Luke's shoulder.

I woke up without Luke beside me. I looked around looking for him, but I was still half asleep. "Luke?" I yelled quietly, yet loud enough for him to hear.
"Morning cutie!" He whispers kissing me on the cheek. "How'd you sleep?"
"Great, since I slept by you." He smiles at me while biting his lip ring. "How'd you sleep?"
"Warmly and comfortable by you." He says winking. "I made breakfast, but didn't burn it this time. It's already served and everything just for you." I got up and skipped to the kitchen. "Bon appetite!" He says. I raise one eyebrow and he just laughs and rubs his head. "I dunno I just wanted to say that haha." I grabbed him and pecked his lips.
"Don't worry, it's cute when you say it." Before I sit, he scoots my chair out for me and scoots it back in when I'm seated. "What a gentleman! But you don't need to be, Luke. It's alright to not be so polite sometimes." He looks at me a smiles, then we both begin eating. After breakfast I decide to head out to get the piercings and tattoos. I came back about 2-3 hours later. Luke greeets me at the door by lifting me up and kissing me.
"You've been gone for so long! I started to worry a little babe!"
"Babe huh? We have to wait for that till our first date, then we'll see." I take out all the items I bought. Dozens of tattoos and a few piercings. "You ready?" And you'd be surprised at the price of these things!" Luke giggles and I take out the tattoos and piercings and start applying them to him and he started appyling some to me. A few moments later we finally finished. We ran to the bathroom to see how we'd come out.
"Damn Leslie you're hot as hell right now. Sorry for my language but mmm." He said biting his lip.
"You don't look too bad yourself Luke." I say winking.
"I lo-"
"Shhh not yet remember?" I say putting my finger on his lips. He grabs me and we gaze into each other's eyes. "Why are you so perfect? Even after all these changes?"
"I dunno why are you?" I shrug and take his hand and lead him to my room. He lays down on my bed and I lay beside him. I put my head on his chest and hear his heartbeat beating fast.
"We're not gonna be able to see each other after you leave. I have school and you're on tour. What're we gonna do?" I look at him with a sad look in my eyes.
"I don't know... I don't want you to drop out. I saw your report card, you have a good future ahead of you. Online classes while on tour with me?"
"My mom though. She'll never let me be on a tour bus with four boys." He let's out a small laugh. "But I wanna be with you. Plus I'm expelled for three weeks after break so... I'll try convincing my mom."
"Alright." He said sitting up. "How bout I take you on a date today? Something simple, yet fun." I sit up.
"Like what?"
"You'll see when we get there. I'll go buy some new clothes and plan it."
"Okay. I'll buy some stuff too. But you'll have to wait and see my look."
"Haha okay. Imma go and don't take as long as you did when you went shopping for the tattoos and stuff. I need to see you quicker." He got up and I followed. He pulled me closer and kissed me. "See you soon."
"Alright but don't show yourself too much. You still look like you so don't draw too much attention to yourself." He nodded and headed out. I got the money my mom left for the take out and my own money and went shopping to Forever 21, a place I've never gone before. I looked around to see if anything appealed to me, but nothing really did. But then, I saw hot Topic and I couldn't resist. I went in. I saw so many of my favorite band merch. I had to grab some. But then I saw a dress. Not girly, but edgy. It was a skater dress. It had golden spikes on the top and a black bottom. I took it and tried it on. It fit perfectly. I take it and pay.

I look at my phone and see a text from luke. "I'll pick u up at 5. ❤"
"Hehe alright see u then " It was 2:30 so I rushed home. When I got home, I showered and straightened my hair. Then I got out the dress. I then put it on and looked in the mirror. "For once I look decent." I think to myself. I apply my mascara and eyeliner and for the first time, eye-shadow and put on some new Converse. It all took 2 hours and a few minutes. Then the doorbell rang. I ran to open it. Luke stood there in a red and black flannel, black ripped skinny jeans, and some Vans. His ocean blue eyes sparkled as they grew wide.
"Ah- you look- uh- haha... Wow."
"Oh god do I look bad?"
"NO! I just can't even... Speak. You're stunning Leslie."
"Awe Luke." I blush and give him a hug. "You look perfect as always." He blushes and gestures to his car.
"Uh shall we haha?" I grab his hand.
"We shall."
