Chapter 15

A'mari pov

I stared at the ceiling still laying in the tub. I heard someone fiddling with the door nob

Jazz. A'mari

I didn't answer. She picked the lock opening the door but it didn't open. I got up and sat on the stool that's in front of the bathroom door

Kentrell. A'mari open this fucking door!!

Me. No leave me alone

He opened it pushing really hard making the stool flip and I fell on my face. He yanked me up choking me.

Kentrell. stop acting like a brat and get ready

He held my throat tighter I pushed his hands feeling light headed

Jazz. Kentrell stop!

He let me go and I fell back and passed out.

Jazz pov

I felt a'mari pulse. I know why he got her here. But he need to leave her alone cuz him doing shit like this gone make her say something. He came back with a bottle of water dumping it on her. She jumped up gasping for air

Kentrell. Get ready

We left out letting her get ready. After about an hour later A'mari came out her room looking down.

Kentrell. Let's go

We went downstairs. Love is with sheronda. We got in the car and he locked the front door

Me. You ok?

She didn't even look up. Kentrell got in the car and drove to p house honking the horn. He came out and got in the car. We drove to starr house.

Kentrell. Bye

They got out and kentrell speed off.

A'mari pov

We went in Starr house. She hugged me. I hugged her back and I went upstairs to Jr room. He let me in. I took my shoes off and laid in the bed.

Jr. What's wrong?

I just shook my head. He sat on the bed

Jr. Why your lip busted?

I just looked at him. He looked at me to. I heard footsteps on the stairs. Then the door opened

Starr. Y'all hungry

We both nodded we got up jr walked downstairs but Starr made me stay

Starr. What happened to your mom?

Me. She died of cancer when I was 5

She nodded we went downstairs and I went to the dinning room seating at the table eating pizza. After we ate we went back upstairs. I started to think about my parents. Tears rolled out my eyes. Jr hugged me . I laid on his shoulder crying myself to sleep. I felt him kiss my cheek putting me on a pillow.

Starr pov

I sat on the couch glancing at p. It irks my nerves that he's here. Baby k and k3 is with Sherhonda cuz she buying there outfits for the party. This Saturday I got jr and A'mari shirts like mine. and forces.

I got up going in my room to watch a movie.

Me. Jr!!!

I heard footsteps on the stairs then he came in

Me. What y'all doing

Jr. A'mari sleep. I'm watching a movie

I nodded he walked out and I went back to watching my movie.

Later that night

Kentrell just came to pick p and A'mari up. I called A'mari down

A'mari pov

I hugged jr and he kissed by cheek then I went downstairs. Starr hugged me then I went outside with p. I stared out the window the whole ride.

When he dropped p off we went to the house. When we went in I went to my room took a shower and got in some pjs and put a movie on. I got completely under the cover going to sleep.
