Chapter 54

A'mari pov

I finished packing my suitcase and carry on bag looking down. Me and kam gotta be at the airport by 3pm it's 12pm. A tear rolled out my eye. I been crying all morning. I Took my stuff downstairs. my cousins left earlier. My grandpa is going to New Orleans for work so he's getting in the plane with me and kam.

I put my stuff near the couch going upstairs. I laid on the bed crying in my pillow. I heard the door open and close. Then someone sat on the bed

Pa pa. You ok

I didn't lift my head up. He rubbed my back. I felt myself whizzing. I sat up getting an inhaler out my purse using it. Pa pa looked at my face I hurried and wiped my face with my arm. He hugged me kissing my forehead. I put my inhaler in my purse laying back in the pillow. I cride in my pillow. I felt papa rubbing my back

Pa pa. You know your mom use to Barry her face in pillows and cry like this

I looked up

Pa pa. She had depression cuz she didn't feel loved when she was your age.

I just listened

Pa pa. Tell pa pa what's wrong

I just stared at him as tears rolled down my face. My eyes started getting heavy

Pa pa. Jr getting on the plan with us

I started drifting off to sleep.

2:30 pm

We got in the airport doing all that extra stuff. Now we're waiting to bord the plan. Once they called are flight number we got on. I put my seatbelt on laying on the window staring out. When everyone was in the flight attendant went over the rules and we started flying. I closed my eyes falling back to sleep

After the flight

We got of the plan getting are stuff. Pa pa hugged me kissing my forehead

We went out the airport and he went to another area. We got in the sprinter. After putting my stuff in I laid on the window. I wanna sleep they dropped kam off then we went to kentrell house. It kentrell, Ben, kd, boomer, 3three and Montana. I got my stuff putting it in my room closet. Jr came in here. He's waiting for his mom

Jr. You ok?

I nodded taking my ugg boots off getting in the bed laying down. I put my face in the pillow falling back to sleep.
