Chapter 4

"Morning Girls!" Someone shouted. Uhhh the fucking matron! We had PT. AGAIN! This is a fucking nightmare!

I changed into some shorts and a t-shirt and went down and started jogging. Today, the boys weren't here. We did our 5 rounds and headed upstairs to shower. we got to the bathing stalls. I took a shower changed into my uniform brushed my teeth, washed my face. I saw Ctvetka and Salomé  painting their nails a lavender purple. As much as i hated that girl, she had a good fashion sense. Today she had her hair in a sleek ponytail and she as wearing black Steve madden boots. She had applied a glossy pink lip gloss. I hated to admit that she look good. Ctvetka was wearing the uniform and her short hair were open. Ctvetka was a Slovak. She was naturally pretty.

I went to my closet to see my time table. I printed an extra copy and stuck one my closet. So today was Pre-calc and Sex-ed and Biology and Public speaking. Uhh Sex-ed. I really did not want to sit through that.

" Paradise eggs?" Sahara said creeping up behind me. I nodded. I slipped on my sneakers. We went and ordered what we wanted. I finished and so did Sahara and then we headed to class. We both had Pre-calc. 

I took my seat and the Professor entered. 

" I would like you to see what is being written and hear what is being spoken. Take notes i have no problem but when questioned i would like you to answer. " 

" Very well then, Lets begin. This is the first time you all are introduced to calculus. Does anyone know what this term means?"

A girl named Monika spoke up. " I think its a course which has algebra and trigonometry." Her German accent rolling off her tongue.

" Yes, I will elaborate further. You know what is Pre-Calc. But Calculus is the mathematical study of continuous change, in the same way that geometry is the study of shape, and algebra is the study of generalizations of arithmetic operations."

" I will write a few examples, see if you can solve them."

He went and wrote down somethings.

1. What is the center and radius of the circle indicated by the equation?

(x−2)2+y2=36

2.  Find the vertex (x,y) for a parabola with equation

y=3x2−6x+1

3.  Consider the function

f(x)=x2−x

Find the maximum of the function on the interval [0,1].

Easy! 

1- (2,0), r=6

2- (1,−2)

3-  0

He gave us 10 minutes to complete these. I saw Ctvetka struggling. 

" Is everyone done?" There was a chorus of yes's which filled the classroom.

He told us the correct answers and the proper ways to solve them.  It felt like we were sitting in the class forever! The bell rang and i got up to go to my Sex-ed class. Sex-ed was on the other side of the school building next to my Physics and World Languages class. Sahara also had sex-ed so , we walked together. She was the only person i actually knew in this school.

SEX-ED ( JOINT YEAR 11- 13)

It said with BIG BOLD LETTERS on the Gold Frame. It was a real gold frame. Made entirely out of gold. 17 carat gold.  I was reading about it on the school website which can only be accessed with a unique code. Inside the classroom where various 3D models of the reproductive system. There were only 10 desks and 20 seats and they were joined, which meant that 2 people on one desk type. So 20 people in the sex-ed class. Not bad. 

Me and her both walked in the disturbing room.

We took our seats in the back next to each other. To be honest it was really funny and awkward to be in sex-ed. Looking at all those models almost made me choke on the water i was drinking. Most of the people of my class had come in. Only the people from 12th class or as they like to say 13th year were left. and they entered. i was so thankful that Christain's class wasn't with us. A lady entered the room.

" Good Morning" She said in a thick russian tone. " My name is Ms.Inessa Petrov. You all shall address me as Ms. Petrov. I am new here this year. you all shall treat me with utmost respect. Understood?"

A chorus of yes's went around in the crowd. Before she started class, Christian and his gang walked in.

First walked in Christian. He walked in like he didn't give a fuck and i am probably sure that he actually didn't. Then walked in two other guys, one was a ginger while the other one was also blond. Then I saw Ain and Elijah walk in. He had Jet black hair which reached till his shoulders. Three other guys walked in. One with dirty blond hair and the other two with light and dark brown hair respectively. The last guy had dyed his hair a platinum/silver color.

They all took their seats wherever they wanted. Some sat on the empty ones whereas the others forced them out of their seats and then sat on those ones. Christian sat next to Salomé. 

I saw the guy with dirty blond hair eyeing the teacher up and down. Disgusting really. 

" Now start the fucking lecture ." John said again. 

" Shut your fucking mouth Willis" The guy with Platinum hair shouted across the classroom. And John Willis shut up immediately.

" Its fine Dietrich. Let the fucker finish" Christian said. John smirked. Christian saw it and spoke again. " Get the fuck out of here Willis."

" Bu-"

" Sod off now" He said. John walked out of the classroom in shame.  Due to  this commotion everyone forgot about the time. We all wasted a good 20 minutes in this shit. Christian scanned the room. His blue eyes landed on my chocolate ones. He looked right at me.  I was shocked at first but then looked away. 

"  There will be a proper seating plan which will take place. Please sit to the plan." She said . She still called out the names though.

'Sahara and Nick. ' I saw Sahara get up and move to a table with a guy called Nick.
