As Louis walked the path that led to the house, he pondered on the possibility that Harry did not want to talk about "opening up" with him.Louis couldn't find it in his heart to blame him though. After all, a secret was a secret, and secrets were always kept hidden for a reason and with that being said, whatever he tried to hide must've been extremely personal to him; Louis could only wish that Harry would let him in on whatever was bothering him, though.
After the kiss at the river, Louis had imagined that Harry would've at least opened up to him a little bit more about himself, but he never did. Instead, he pushed him away even more, as if he were scared of getting too attached to a person...too scared to let whatever he was hiding slip out without his control.
Louis neared the house and saw one of the blinders ruffle though the window from inside.
Curious, He slowed his pace and squinted at its movements. The blinders were then suddenly pulled up, revealing Harry, who wore an expressionless gaze as he stared back at Louis. Seeing this, Louis speed-walked towards the house and twisted open the front door.
''Harry?'' Louis called, as he came face-to-face with Harry in the living room.
Harry made no response.
''Harry, we need to talk.'' Louis demanded firmly.
''About what?'' He asked glumly.
''You know what,'' Louis said, resting his hand limply on his hip.
''There's nothing for us to discuss.'' He replied harshly as he glared at his feet.
Okay then, Louis thought. We'll have it your way .
''Fine.'' Louis huffed hotly. ''We don't have to talk about it. I'm leaving for town today anyway since my car will be fixed by then.'' This wasn't exactly true, Louis wasn't planning on leaving anytime soon...not until he uncovered Harry's secrets...he was way too invested to give up just yet.
Louis' statement unsurprisingly caught Harry's full attention, as he immediately looked up at him with widened eyes. ''Wait, what?''
''Yeah, you heard me.'' Louis said as his expression hardened. "Since you don't want me to be a part of what ever shit you're try'na hide, you'd love it if I'm out of your way.'' He said coldly, waiting for Harry's reaction.
''It's- it's not like that that...'' Harry argued, slightly taken aback by Louis' words.
"Erm, from my point of view, it pretty much is." He said, crossing his arms.
"No, you don't understand," Harry knitted his brows as he took a firm step towards Louis.
"You have the fucking option to let me understand."
"No, I don't."
"Yes, you do."
"No. I. Don't."
"Yes. You. Do." And with that, Louis tilted his chin upward and turned to walk towards the hallways, leaving Harry alone in the living room, fuming with anger.
Just as Louis reached his bedroom door, he heard quick and heavy footsteps coming from behind him.
He then felt a strong grip on his left shoulder and before he knew it, he was spun around forcefully, and was now facing a very, very mad Harry.
"Wha-"
"Don't leave." He cut in abruptly, still holding onto Louis' shoulder.
Did he just ask him not to leave? Louis stood there, blinking in utter disbelief.
"What?"
