Night had finally arrived in Jasper, Nevada, as the full moon shined it's ethereal light throughout the town and beyond. The temperature was cold but a nice warm breeze helped lessened it. A lone tumbleweed could be seen rolling through the barren desert as a howl from a coyote echoed within the, seemingly, peaceful night.
But there is more than meets the eye with this middle of nowhere town.
Unknown to the town, and most of humanity, a war between two factions of metal giants have been raging on Earth; known as the Autobots and the Decepticons.
These titans are called Cybertronians from the planet Cybertron. But due to centuries of constant fighting, their home planet became uninhabitable. While staying here, the Autobots have vowed to protect this planet from the evil Decepticons.
On the outskirts of Jasper, located right in front of the town's entrance, lies a, seemingly normal, large rock formation. Despite it being out of place, the townsfolk never really payed much attention to it since Earth is known for it's mysterious wonders.
But in truth?
This rock formation is, in fact, an abandoned missile silo left by the United States government for the Autobots to use as their base of operations.

BANG
"Blasted Earth tech!"
A mech with white and orange color schemes slammed his servos onto the computer console in a fit of irritation; his blue optics shining brightly from his strong emotions.
"What seems to be the problem, Ratchet?"
The familiar calm deep baritone voice signature caused the said bot to shift his helm towards his old friend and leader, Optimus Prime. The head Autobot had a blue, red, and silver color scheme with bright blue optics. The Prime's optical ridges were furrowed and his dermas were formed into a frown of concern and curiosity at the old and grumpy medic.
Gesturing a servo at the computer screen, Ratchet scoffed out "This primitive technology is bugged! For a couple of solar cycles, I have been receiving an unusual energy signal. But it's been disappearing just as quick as it appears! I deduced it to this blasted thing malfunctioning...", he grumbled out while crossing his arms over his chassis, "I'm still working on fixing a few kinks..."
"Hmmm...", Optimus thought deeply on the subject before asking his main concern, "Could it be of Deception origin?"
"Negative. Though, I am certain it is nothing to be concerned about."
"Even if this peculiar energy signal may seem unimportant and the Decepticons being inactive for some time, I can assume it wise to scout out this anomaly just to be sure... and safe."
The medic gave a vent of disbelief but nodded in understanding of his old friend's decision, "Very well."
Activating his comm link to two of his comrades, the leader spoke, :Optimus to Arcee and Cliffjumper.:
A feminine voice answered back, :Hear you loud and clear.:
:There has been signs of an unknown energy source that is in need of our attention. Sending coordinates now.:
This time a masculine voice spoke up, :Roger that, Boss Bot!:

Meanwhile, high above Earth's atmosphere, a Cybertronian vessel, known as the Nemesis, aimlessly hovers above the planet. The ship is teeming with Decepticons and is their main base of operations.
BEEP
BEEP
BEEP
A dark visor displaying an energy signature and it's coordinates stood before a skinny femme looking mech with red and dark grey color scheme; his pedes resembling high heels.
"This insignificant signal has been active for some time and is of neither Autobot or Decepticon origin.", the mech hummed out before dramatically sighing out as folded his servos behind his back struts, scoffing "Yet, as I said before, it is insignificant and I don't want to waste our precious energon for something as meaningless as this."
The blue, purple, black lithe frame connecting to the void like visor only stayed silent as they simply gave a nod, despite not agreeing with the cowardly mech, before turning around and walking off to finish their tasks. But just to be sure...
A chirping sound came from the mech's chassis before a price of it disconnected to reveal a bird like drone. The metallic aviary flew around his master's helm, giving a few happy coos through their bond, before flying off to bid the mech's silent order.

:You sure this is the place?:
:I'm positive:
A blue and pink two wheeler and a red Dodge Challenger with a pair of horns at end of his hood cautiously drove into a massive slot canyon filled with various sports vehicles and humans. The features of the people varied between young and old, mean and rugged, to cocky and fashionable.
The sound of Optimus' voice through the comlink caused the two the halt in their tracks, :Optimus to Arcee:
Shifting her review mirror to scan for any nosy fleshies before deeming it clear, the motorcycle answered :We hear you, Optimus.:
:Have you arrived at the location?:
:Affirmative. But it's filled with humans.:
:What are humans doing in a place like that?:, Ratchet exclaimed in confusion.
The red Dodge Challenger chimed in, :It looks like they're planning on doing some races.:
:It seems Cliffjumper is right.:, Prime stated, :It seems as if some illegal activity is at work here.:
:What do you want us to do?:, Arcee asked her leader.
:Remain under cover. Ratchet will alert you if the energy signal is close by.:
:Copy that, Bossbot!:, Cliffjumper cheered with a small rev of his engine; causing some of the delinquents to look over his way.
:Cliff! What part of 'under cover' didn't you understand?:, Arcee hissed out as she turned her front wheel towards her partner.
:Relax, Cee!:, the mech chuckled out, :If this signal is from a human that goes to places like this, then what better way to lure them out than to show off what I got?:
:You know the rules...:, the femme warned, :No racing.:
:I know that! But I can still strut my stuff!:
If she could, Arcee would roll her optics at Cliffjumper's antics until the sound of heavy footsteps approaching the two Cybertronians caught their attention,
"Well, aren't you a pretty color?"
