I spent most my day in my bedroom, just trying to survive. Remember what I told you about my room trying to kill me on a daily basis? Well, this is what I meant.
If I pressed up against a wall, it'd suddenly disappear and have me flat on my face. If I tried to walk in a straight line it would suddenly open up pits for me to fall into – and I didn't know where those pits led... I was too frightened to find out.
But today, it felt like it was on high danger alert as glass shards flung through the air, nearly pinning me to the wall.
"PLEASE, CASITA!" I yelled in dire need, "Please, just give me a BREAK for ONE DAY!"
I could just hear the tiles crackling and I slumped forward depressed. I swear this room – this HOUSE wanted me dead.
Oh the life of a teenage boy... a magical teenage boy, I should probably add.
After what felt like an hour had passed (Only was five minutes) I attempted to leave the deathtrap that was my room, and try make it to Mirabel's bedroom. I needed help. I needed advice and NOW.
As I pushed opened my door I swore I heard the wind in the draft of the hall whisper to me, See you soon!
I sighed heavily in response and froze up the second I saw Isabella come out of her bedroom.
I smiled nervously, raising my hand in a wave, almost begging without any words, for a truce.
The second she saw me though, her hair seemed to flare up and she scowered at me with out cause.
Okay... that would be a lie.
It wasn't completely without cause – BUT SHE, she brought it on herself.
We passed each other on the hall and I only whispered the words in fright.
"Isabella..."
"Camilo." She said in a snap and crossed me with a bitterness surrounding her. I knew then she wished I was gone for good, but I couldn't help that SHE had KISSED ME! She was the one in the blame.
When she spoke my name, my heart hurt badly in response to her low lying rage and I just shook my head in sad response, making my way over to the nursery.
I stood up straight when I reached it, and took a deep breath in before I rattled on the door.
I waited there, patiently (that was a lie) and I tapped my foot a few times till I heard her say quite cheerfully behind the blue door.
"Who is it?!"
"ME."
"Can you be a bit more specific?"
I groaned and only pushed opened her door, seeing her at her table with a sowing machine as she was fixing up one of her skirts.
"Mirabel," I said her name in desperation and she only turned around in her wooden chair, facing me with a big smile.
"Finished with your trickery on Isabella?" She asked with a small sneaky grin running up her lips.
"Oh, it's finished alright." I said in a snarl, and pointed to my chest with my thumb as I took on Isabella's form and added in mean teasing mannerisms that Isabella often acted in, "The PERFECT Isabella KISSED MY WOMAN!"
Mirabel just sat there silently, before murmuring the words, "She did what now?"
"She KISSED my Maria!"
"In other words...?"
"She KISSED ME!"
Mirabel remained silent again... before cracking up in a chuckle as she pointed at me and started laughing.
