"Jimin, are you still with Namjoon? I think you both should come over here," Taehyung frantically whispered. He was hiding from Sejin and Jungkook in the foyer.
Jimin put the phone on speaker and tapped Namjoon on the shoulder to wake him up.
"Why? What's happening?" he asked, making confused eye contact with Namjoon.
Taehyung paced around the circular entry, "So, Sejin is a lawyer, and he agreed to let Jungkook talk to the police, but he told me to get Namjoon to prescribe him something to calm him down," he explained, still in a whisper.
"But I think you should come over here too because Jungkook is freaking the fuck out, and I don't think I'm helping," he continued, running a hand through his already messy hair.
He didn't even want to think about how pathetically disheveled he was. All of his clothes were wrinkled and he was barely dressed.
Jimin and Namjoon were still frowning at each other when Sejin appeared out of nowhere and took the phone from Taehyung.
"Mr. Park, please feel free to come to the hotel but you won't be able to speak with Mr. Jeon just yet," he sighed into the phone, "Though I wouldn't mind speaking with you. I've heard a great deal about you from both your sister and Mr. Jeon over the years," he said, voice betraying a hint of dry humor.
Namjoon cleared his throat and held out his hand, signaling for Jimin to give him the phone. He got out of bed and turned off the speaker, before going into the bathroom and closing the door.
"Uh, Sejin, this is Dr. Kim," he began, somewhat self-consciously.
Sejin sniffed, "Dr. Kim, I'm not sure if it's my business but I'm surprised to hear you're with Mr. Park," he observed somewhat sheepishly.
Namjoon laughed nervously, "It's not, but moving on," he began, rubbing his eyes to wake himself up and have a coherent conversation.
"I'm no longer Jungkook's doctor, so I'm not sure my presence would be helpful," he admitted reluctantly, not sure why he felt guilty.
Sejin hummed in realization, but brushed it off, "Well, consider his file re-opened because now you are his doctor," he scoffed, rolling his eyes at the gooeyness of the world of therapy.
"Call in some Xanax to the nearest pharmacy. And probably some type of sleeping pill would be helpful," Sejin commanded, annoyed at this, "I'm not sure why Mr. Jeon didn't bring any with him, but it's fine."
Namjoon listened in silence, furrowing his brow and nodding before speaking, only to be interrupted by Sejin.
"Also, I'm not suggesting your presence would be helpful nor do you need to come. I do, however, think Mr. Park's presence would be helpful seeing as I'd like to speak with him, so if you're together, please feel free," Sejin listed off casually, glancing at Taehyung, who was glaring at him.
"You won't be seeing Mr. Jeon, though, if that's what you're worried about," he huffed, before handing Taehyung the phone and walking off.
A few neighborhoods away, Namjoon walked back into the bedroom where Jimin was rushing to get dressed and handed him the phone.
Taehyung looked at his iPhone as though it might burst into flames, but lifted it back up to his ear, "Jimin? What's the plan? I don't know what to do here," he whispered, not wanting Jungkook to hear his panic.
"Tae? I don't know. What do you want me to do?" Jimin whined, pinching the bridge of his nose and shoving his feet into a pair of beat up Tod's.
Taehyung bit his lip and thought for a minute, "Maybe come? If Namjoon can get Jungkook some medicine I think that would be good. Sejin wants to talk to you I guess," he said, squeezing his eyes closed.
