ABC7 NY Headline: Police are trying to identify a body found in the basement of a vacant home in Queens during an unrelated trespassing call. If anybody has any information, they are instructed to call the 114th Precinct of the NYPD.
"Yo, John, can you get the guys in here to lift prints?" Mark called down the hall after Jungkook and his lawyer were out of the building and certainly out of earshot.
He pointed at the chair Jungkook had been sitting in, "I saw him sitting on his hands, so there might be something," he directed when a few forensic specialists had entered the room to dust for fingerprints.
Mark exchanged looks with his colleague, "I'm not even sure anything we found at the house will be indicative of much, but maybe there's something that could help," he shrugged.
John nodded, "Yeah, they found one partial while they were over there that didn't match Mrs. Jeon, so let's hope," he nodded, leaning against a wall and watching the team finish up.
"Do you think it's strange that he showed up with one of the most well-known defense attorneys this side of the Mississippi? That Sejin dude is terrifying," Mark said, raising an eyebrow and eyeing the guys in the interview room.
He scoffed in disbelief when no one replied, "We need to figure out who the fuck was in that basement and what the fuck happened. There's no way this is some coincidence," Mark huffed in frustration, storming out of the room and down the hall.

"I promise I'll tell you everything," Jungkook murmured. He stood up and pulled Taehyung towards him tentatively. He breathed in everything that he could identify in the older; his heady scent, but also the less tangible things like the way he was adept and graceful all at the same time.
Taehyung hummed, "You keep saying that, but I have yet to hear anything that would explain why on earth you would say something like that to Jimin if it wasn't true," he resisted, but stayed close to Jungkook, letting the younger kiss his neck and linger on his shoulder.
Jungkook furtively reached into Taehyung's pocket and took out the bottle of Xanax that was still in there, twisting off the cap and picking a little blue pill out.
"Koo, really right now?" Taehyung whispered in his ear, kissing the younger's cheek.
Jungkook kissed him back softly, on the mouth and nodded, "Yeah, I know, I know. I'm sorry. I just-," he drifted off, slipping the pill into his mouth and chewing it absentmindedly.
"I need it, babe. I just do," he murmured, burying his face in Taehyung's shoulder once again, "You know I'm crazy. I told you that," he mumbled into the older's shirt.
Taehyung made a sound of ambivalence from the back of his throat, "You're no crazier than the average person, baby," he snorted, rubbing the younger's back with his fingertips.
"I get it though, it's a lot right now," he offered, bringing a hand up to the back of Jungkook's head, forking his fingers through the damp hair.
Jungkook murmured in agreement, "I love you," he whispered, "So, so much."
Taehyung blew out a long, slow breath, "Me too, honey," he replied, right under his breath as though he were afraid to say it too loud.
"You make me feel better," the younger choked, words coming out like the beginnings of a muted sob. It made Taehyung want to cry.
