Un-Human

I imagine my mind is something akin to TV static as my brain tries to sort through the information, both old and new. Forgotten memories emerging in my brain make it worse and worse. I feel so tired despite not doing anything. My mind feels worn out. Yet, time soldiers on, and eventually that cosmic soup starts getting slower and slower. A powerful message rang through my mind. I'm Lyle Kendrick. And I am human. There's no refuting it at this point. I'd just be lying to my already convinced self. I get choked up a little bit. What am I supposed to do now?

I'd lost so much at that, don't swear Lyle, godforsaken restaurant. My life, my relationships, my time. What happened to my brother? Did he make it back home? Or did he stay out there? Waiting for a brother who'd never return? Waiting for someone who broke a promise...

I look back at my memories, they've faded and I can't even tell what faces looked like or what voices sounded like. But they're there. I let loose an imaginary sigh. I shouldn't just be looking at the past. But how am I going to pick myself up from this... cage?! Then two other people emerge in my mind. Freddy and Gregory. They might need some help. That rabbit... they're dangerous.

I look around my surroundings, a whole lot of nothing. In the same backroom as earlier though, that old Lyle suit is still laying there. I inwardly chuckle a little bit. It's kind of ironic how we both have the same name. The chuckle grows a bit dull though, as emptiness sets in at the face of the realization.

The only thing of interest in the room is that Lyle suit, so I nudge my way over there slowly until I come face to face with it.  Getting a closer look for anything that can help me get out of these bindings I notice it actually has the claws still on. I think they're even sharper than mine. Probably because of laxer safety standards. Let's just hope they haven't dulled over time. I shimmy my way over to where my back is facing one of the hands and I try to set myself up to saw this wire open. It takes a bit of time and is really annoying to do, but I think I got it.

The room fills with the noises of friction and cutting. The claws seem to have dulled a bit but it's kind of working. Luckily I'm a robot or else this would be very uncomfortable. And eventually, I get one of the wires to snap off, increasing my range of movements slightly. It makes it a lot easier to start cutting the other wires so no complaints from me.

Time passes as I get the wires off of me. And I get up off the ground. I check my ear to see if I still had my Faz-watch. No dice. They must've stolen it. Shoot. I can only hope I'll be able to run into them soon. I don't even know what time it is right now. Let's think... I'd assume Gregory would have gone over to Fazerblast first. But they may have already finished up over there... so my first order of business should be to find out what time it is. I just don't remember seeing any clocks around this place. Maybe the lost and found has some spare Faz-watches? It'd be my best bet.

I leave that strange addition to the pizza plex and instantly feel a bit better. It's a relief to be out of there. The mind is a funny thing, I didn't even do anything and I feel better. Let's see... the lost and found should be near the entrance if I'm remembering correctly.

And with that, I get going. Hopefully, I don't run into Vanessa, I could possibly lie to Chica, but definitely not her. I make my way to the entrance, the extravagant Freddy statue serving as a marker. I really wonder how much that thing cost. They had to have used fake gold, or it's hollow because I refuse to accept that the place that I died at is this rich. I'm already upset that they could afford this place already.

I find the lost and found nearby and open up the door. Sorry little Timmy, but I'm going to have to take your Faz-watch. I say to myself to ease my conscience as I search the room. Wasn't that hard to find the bin all the lost Faz-watches were in. Of course, they were locked away lest some kids stole the bunch, but did you think child prevention measures could keep me out? Let's see... 5:50?!

I sincerely hope I was just out for a while rather than it having taken me that long to get out of that room. Shoot, shoot, shoot, what was Gregory's Faz-watch ID? Uh... yeah, there's no way I'm getting in touch with Gregory without meeting them. But how am I going to find them? I tap my feet in frustration. It's really just pure chance if I find them in any of the attractions... with 10 minutes before 6:00, it'd be best to just wait here. Drats. I really hope they are okay... Gregory has got Freddy though, they should be fine. Doesn't make me feel any better though. I take it upon myself to just wait by the exit doors, they should be making their way here soon enough.
