Prolouge

The year is 1989, Lyle, aged 16, had been enjoying his younger brother's birthday party. They went to the local Freddy's and were having a blast. Lyle admits he was a little old for the place, but nostalgia and being a good older brother got him through the day. Fortunately, time passes along and the restaurant starts coming to a close. Lyle starts guiding his little brother out of the restaurant along with all the other guests when he is struck with the sudden urge to go to the bathroom. He was a bit reluctant to go back inside to use the bathroom in Freddy's since they were about to close, but thinking about the 10-minute walk home made him quickly throw that worry out of his mind. "Hey, Kenny. Your big bro needs to go to the bathroom. Can you stay outside for a bit? I won't be long." He crouches down to his brother's eye level to explain. "Okay!" Kenny says cheerfully. "I'll be right back, I promise!" Unfortunately, this was the first time Lyle would be breaking a promise.

"Ahh~." Lyle finishes relieving himself and exits the bathroom after washing his hands. In which he sees the uncanny sight of Freddy's with all the lights off. 'Looks like I spent more time in the bathroom than I thought I would have.' Lyle, feeling unnerved, quickly walks to the front doors. To see the security shutters brought down. 'Ah crap! I got to find another way out of here. Kenny must be nervous!' Lyle quickly sprints around the pizzeria, looking for a possible way out, the only option he finds is breaking the window. But Lyle doesn't want to get a mark on his criminal record, so he decides to try and find the key for the shutters. And unbeknownst to him, the animatronics start moving.

Lyle is quickly alerted by the noise of metal thumping on the floor, turning around he sees Bonnie staring directly at him with red eyes. Spooked he quickly runs to find a place to hide. 'Pirate's Cove ought to work! The place is out of order so it should be fine!' He quickly does a loop around the building to get out of eyesight, before silently slinking behind the curtains of Pirate's Cove, too busy looking for the main stage animatronics to see Foxy right behind him. Lyle quickly feels a burning pain as he gets slashed by a hook! "Agh" He turns around in shock to see Foxy towering over him. 'This is qualified as out of order?!' The frightening pirate and the wound along his arm knock down his childlike willpower as he falls to the floor in fear. Foxy grabbed him with their unhooked arm. The metallic touch brought him back to reality. "Let me go!" Lyle tries working his way out of Foxy's grip but the robot is much stronger than he is. He slowly gets dragged to the backrooms where he sees Freddy standing there as if he was waiting. Foxy throws Lyle onto the ground in front of Freddy while blocking the door. Lyle tries to get up to defend himself, but no dice. Freddy grabs him and jams him headfirst into an animatronic suit. The wires and metal bits dig into his skin before it all fades to darkness.
