I waited by the closest exit to parts & services. I hope he can come to get me soon... there's been a shift in how I think ever since that thing Vanessa did to me. I've become emotional, although fragile is the better word most likely. I just have this sense of melancholy, it gets especially worse when I look at myself. I've no idea why that is though. I look around parts and services again, maybe I can find a spare Faz-watch or something to help Gregory get out of here. Although, Freddy would be better. I think I just feel lonely and bored. How can a robot even feel bored?
After looking around in some corners I eventually come across a dusty Faz-Watch. It's not charged though, but it should still work if I can refill its battery. Of course, I'd also have to friend Gregory so we can sync up our watches so I can communicate with him. I hear a door opening coming from my right. Approaching it I see that Gregory has opened the parts and service door that's nearby the prize counter. "W-why are you still here?" "I was too late..." I notice the disappointment in his voice. I decide to change the topic.
"How'd you get the door open?" I ask, he quickly brightens up to brag about what he did. "I shoved this crappy Mr. Hippo Fridge Magnet into the card reader and it caused the door to glitch and open." "Nice th-thinking Gregory-y! Did you know that-." I quickly cover my mouth. "N-now's not the t-time to learn ab-about magnets." Gregory gives me a confused glance. "S-sorry. You p-probably shouldn't use that tr-trick to open any m-more doors. I-it's very dangerous to m-mess with electricity l-like that. And it may c-cause a short c-circuit or a-alarm to go off." Gregory shrugs. "No promises." He then notices the fact that I put my Faz-watch on my ear. "What's that on your ear?" "O-oh. Well, I-i found a F-Faz-watch in parts and s-service. But it's out of p-power. I put it o-on my ear because I d-didn't want to carry it a-and it doesn't f-fit on my arm." As I walk out towards the prize counter I inadvertently get a new look at myself. My fur is still mostly there but there are parts here and there that are missing. Kind of like bites. There's one near my voicebox too.
"I-is this me?" Gregory notices the apparent sadness in my tone and just gives me an apologetic look. "W-well, I can w-worry about that la-later. Let's get moving s-so you don't get c-caught. I kn-know I look bad, b-but do you w-want to ride on my s-shoulders?" Gregory, of course, says yes because what kid would deny a free piggyback ride. I bend over and he hops on my back. Doing this gives me some pangs of sorrow. The type of sadness you get from nostalgia. I must've done this a lot at my old location. It's pretty fun to do. "D-do you have an i-idea of where y-you s-should go n-next?" Gregory looks down at me. "Freddy says I should upgrade this free pass I got so I can roam more of the pizza plex." "T-that's a great idea!"
After some meandering Gregory wanted to feel like he was doing something so he pressed down on my ears where we were supposed to go. I played along, sometimes we'd encounter security bots but they ignored me and Gregory. Probably because he was too high to notice. I told Gregory that if we were to encounter the Glamrock animatronics he should press himself down near my back, my fluff should be enough cover, hopefully. If not, I guess I could serve as a distraction if anything. We get over the place to upgrade Gregory's pass.
"W-well, here we are." I gently let Gregory down as he goes to upgrade the pass. The machine just eats it and doesn't spit anything back out. "Stupid machine ate my pass!" He kicks it. "W-well, that Mr. Hippo m-magnet should still work." Gregory takes it out and the machine glitches. Never will I have thought that I'd have to encourage vandalism. Sigh. "L-let's not use that anymore, p-please. I d-don't want this to b-become a habit." "Fine..." Gregory grabs the pass that came out of the machine. "What? It gave me a pass to the stupid daycare." I hear Gregory's Faz-watch spark to life. "That's great. There's a good fellow in there and I can meet you by the doors afterward. There should also be a spare security badge in there somewhere."
I grow excited at the mention of the daycare. "O-ooh. The d-daycare rules! Y-you'll love it!" I quickly put Gregory on my shoulders and start walking us to the daycare excitedly. "I-i know I only w-worked there for a d-day. But my a-area is c-cool!" I gush over the details of my lair during the walk. We reach the door to the daycare and Gregory opens it with his pass. Revealing a slide saying "Slide into Fun!" I place Gregory down. Fortunately, I'm small enough to ride down the slide, I was probably built around that. And thus, we officially entered the daycare.
