CHAPTER 29

It's been three years since we left.

"Mama.." I went closer to where my two year old son is sitting and I immediately hugged him. Yes, we survived. We survived without him.

After I gave birth, Dr. Odever suggested about my heart surgery. And thank God it went really well.

My family was here with us the whole time. My parents preferred to focus on our business here for the meantime in the US and gave Jimin the full responsibility on our business in korea. Jimin sometimes visits us here.

I worked here in our company together with Alice.

My friends didn't knew about my son. We talked online but that's it.

Jk, on the other hand, didn't even contacted me for years. He didn't really cared at all. Jimin also didn't mentioned anything about him. I didn't asked him or our friends about him either. Which is a good thing.

Living here in the US was toughed at first, but my family and my son made me stronger.

My thinking suddenly stopped when I heard our door bell rang.

Our helper went to checked who it was.

"Hi baby, Jacob." It was mom and dad.

Yes. Jacob Kaden Park is his full name. And yes, it's JK for short. I know it was wrong, I wanted us to live forward without him, but there's this thing about me that I wanted to give my son even just his initials. He wouldn't find it anyway.

"Grandpa and grandma!" Jacob was so excited to see them again. They brought him toys again. I told them not to spoil him. But they didn't listen.

"Mom, dad. How are you? How's Korea?" I asked.

"It was fine. We closed another deal." Dad said.

"That's great! So, when will Jimin visit us again?" I asked.

"Maybe soon. He's just fixing some stuff in the office. He misses Jacob too." Dad answered.

"Where's Alice by the way?" Mom asked.

"She went on a date I think." I chuckled.

"After that, she'll turn that guy down again. Your sister still didn't find the right man for her." Mom chuckled as well.

"Maybe, this time she will." I said.

"Anyway, I saw seulgi and she asked about you. She visited your brother that time." Mom suddenly said.

I missed her.

"I told her, she can visit you here together with your brother." Mom said.

"What? Mom, she doesn't knew anything about Jacob. Jacob is still a secret mom. You forgot about that?" I asked angrily.

"Don't worry, if ever she will learn about Jacob, she won't tell anyone I promise." Mom said.

I trust seulgi ofcourse. But what if her tongue slips? And will accidentally tell our friends. What if jk finds out about Jacob? What if he doesn't wanted Jacob in the first place? Maybe he knew I was pregnant that's why he left?

Arghhh! My thoughts been Killing me for years.
