CHAPTER 39

I am walking back and forth in our living room. I didn't have enough sleep last night because of this.

"Honey, please stop." Mom said.

"You need to calm down rosé." Dad said.

"How can I not? The father of my son is coming today." I answered frustratingly.

"Just relax. Sit here beside me." Mom said.

"We can't stop him seeing his son rosé. I think it's the right time to introduce Jacob." Dad calmly said.

"Dad, I planned that already. I wanted my son to meet him even though he was an asshole. But not this soon. I wasn't prepared." I said.

"What time did Jimin and seulgi went to the airport to picked them up?" Mom asked.

"Seven. He texted me that they're at the airport already." I answered.

"Ok. Just relax for a little bit. I'll tell our helpers to prepare the food and drinks." Mom finally said.

I went to checked on my son who's peacefully sleeping.

He doesn't know, he will meet him today. I don't know what to feel, we were ok without him years ago. Or I thought my son was.

Am I a bad mother? Was I too selfish towards my son's happiness?

I touched my son's face while my eyes were filled with tears.

I wiped my tears away when I saw my son waking up from his nap.

"Mama-" he calls.

"Baby, I'm here." I answered.

"Why are you crying mama?" He asked, while wiping the small tears left in my face.

"Nothing baby. Anyway, remember your uncle's and aunties from Korea?"

He just nods.

"They're arriving today. Your uncle Jimin and auntie seulgi is picking them right now at the airport." I said.

"Really? Yey!"

"Yes. Do you still want to sleep or do you want to changed before they arrive here?" I asked.

"Nope. I'm now energized. I need to change mama. I want to be handsome when they see me." He said excitedly.

"Ok. Let's go to your walk in closet then." I smiled. But deep inside I'm so nervous.
