CHAPTER 31

One month had passed already, and today is the arrival of Jimin and his fiancée seulgi.

I am very excited but at the same time a little bit nervous. Like it's been three years since I left Korea and which I left also everyone there, like my friends.

I am currently at my son's bedroom, walking back and forth while my son's in bed sleeping peacefully.

I suddenly heard our door bell rang.

They're here. I let out a deep breath before I walked outside the bedroom.

Our helper opened the door and finally saw my brother and friends faces.

Seulgi went closer to me and hugged me so tight.

"I missed you so much rosé." I heard her voice shaking while hugging me.

"I missed you too so much seulgi." I hugged her back.

"Hi sister." My brother hugged me after seulgi released me from her hugged. I saw her eyes full of tears.

"Come, let's sit. Agnes can you please give them some orange juice and cake. Thank you." I told our helper while the three of us went to our living room.

"Rosé, how's life here? It's been what? Three years?" Seulgi said.

"Yes it's been three years. My life is great here. I'm enjoying US so much."

"Our friends really wanted to see you too you know? They were so jealous when I told them that I'll be with Jimin to visit you here." She said. I felt guilty when I thought of my friends all the time. I haven't told them everything.

"I'm sorry if we've lost contact for years seulgi. All that happened was so fast that I lost my thoughts about everything. I hope you and the rest of our friends can forgive me." I said.

"Oh no. Don't say that. We love you much. They really missed you. They wanted to go here too if you'll give them the permission." She said.

"Maybe someday. You can all visit me here." I said awkwardly. Friends, like all of them. Including him?

"We should talked about something else first. How's the company here sis?" Jimin suddenly interrupts. I think he knows that I'm still not comfortable talking about everything.

"Yes, the company is very fine. I hope you're not bored there. You're all alone, while all of us are here in the US." I said.

"Nope. Seulgi always visits me there when she's not busy with her business." He said proudly.

"Oh, speaking of business. How's your cafe shop going seulgi? I asked.

"It's really fine, but sometimes when it's packed I would be so stressed." She exclaimed.

I chuckled.

"Mama.."  my son's up.

"Who's the kid? He's so cute!" Seulgi asked while she walks towards my son who's standing and wearing a pajama, while rubbing his eyes.

Me and Jimin made an eye contact. I think he's telling me that it's time to introduce Jacob to seulgi.

We walked towards them slowly.

"Hi little boy. Where's your mama?" Seulgi asked.

I could see Jacobs eyes widened and then he run towards me.

"Rosé, who's the kid? He's very cute. He looks like someone which I can't figure out who. Or maybe I'm just trippin'. Ah nevermind." She said.

"Mama. I dreamt of it again. You and me and with papa." Jacob hugged me tightly.

I hugged him so much. My heart always breaks when he tells me about all her dream about his dad. What a shame of me, not giving him a complete family.

I saw my brother watching us intently. He loves Jacob so much. He's been one of Jacob's fatherly figure for years.

I looked up at seulgi and saw her puzzled eyes. This is the right time to tell her everything.

I walked towards the living room carrying my son. The two followed us and sat next to us.

"Seulgi, I want you to meet my son Jacob." I said.

My brother and I watched seulgi's reaction.

"Really? Who's his father? Sorry if I got startled for a while. I was just surprised." She asked innocently.

"I'm sorry if I didn't told you about everything. I'm sorry for keeping this a secret to you and the rest of our friends." I said.

"Well, I should be sad that you didn't told us about it, but seriously he's so cute, and I know you're very happy when you gave birth. I just hope we were there cheering for you and celebrated it with you." She said while crying. My brother is now holding and caressing seulgi's hand.  Now I felt more and more guiltier.

My brother went closer to Jacob and carried Jacob out of the living room.

"Where did you and Jacobs father met? I'm sorry for asking so much. You see, your brother didn't told me about this. If it's ok with you." Seulgi said excitedly.

"We're not together." I answered.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sorry if I asked so many questions. And I'm sorry about it rosé."

"He's two years old by the way." I said.

"Oh really? Wow it's- wait, what? So that means you were pregnant when you went here? Or am I stupid enough to calculate it? She asked.

"Yes seulgi I was. And his father is someone you really know." I answered. I heard my own voice shaking. I don't want to cry.

"What? Who?"

"Jk.." I answered.

"What?! That's why Jacob looks so familiar! But how-"

"We had a secret relationship before. And I'm so sorry again for not telling you. I was just so scared because my family especially jimin was so strict before."

"I knew why though. You have a heart condition, that's why he doesn't wanted you to get hurt and get stressed. Yes I knew that. I accidentally heard Jimin and you talking over the phone when I went to his office." I looked at her and saw her teary eyes.

"But I survived. I went on a surgery after months of giving birth." I told her to give her peace of mind.

She hugged me.

"I'm so sorry rosé. I'm sorry if we weren't there when all of that happened to you."
