"Mom...", The girl whispered softly as she ambled inside her parents' bedroom and towards her mom who was sitting on the bed typing something on her laptop.
She climbed on the bed before wrapping her arms around her mom's neck and placing her chin on her shoulder.
"Yes, baby?"
"I wanna ask you something..."
"Go ahead.", She spoke without diverting her gaze from the laptop screen.
"Mom... You know? We are having winter vacations right now and all my friends are going somewhere with their parents. I also wanna go somewhere with you guys. We can go wherever you want to. I just want to spend time with you both 'cause you guys are always busy."
Ye-ji sighed on hearing her words. True. They didn't get that much time to spend with her but they tried their best to do so. However, both Jungkook and Ye-ji being mafias, it was not easy to live like a normal family. They had to make sure Eva was protected and was not in any kind of danger. But what made it way more difficult was the fact that Eva had no idea about what her parents were. This was the reason neither Ye-ji nor Jungkook wanted to take her on a vacation as it can be way dangerous for her.
They wanted to keep her away from all this s***. They wanted her to live a normal life. Her safety was their first priority.
"Umm... Baby, go and ask your dad. If he agrees then we will definitely go, hm?", Ye-ji spoke softly, not wanting to hurt her. At the same time, she knew Jungkook wouldn't accept her request.
"Okay... I'll go to Dad.", Eva spoke with a hint of hope and happiness in her eyes.
Hopping down from the bed, she happily skipped out of the room, not knowing that she was about to get her heart broken.
Ye-ji sighed in sadness, knowing that she would be sad after that.
Taking a deep breath, Eva opened the door of Jungkook's mini office in their house, with a big smile plastered on her lips.
"Dad~", She chirped happily on seeing her father sitting on his chair like the boss he was, checking some files.
On hearing his baby's voice, he lifted his gaze and smiled sweetly on seeing her.
Coming towards him, she sat on his lap and hugged him tightly.
"Whoa! What's up with momma's girl today? Did you suddenly realize that you also have a dad?", Jungkook chuckled as he wrapped his arms around her tiny figure before placing a loving peck on her cheek.
