"Jimin uncle, did you not stop dada? He went away", Jihyun asked, eyes watering as his uncle approached him and Eva.
Seeing her brother's emotional facial expressions and her father driving away, Eva's lips turned down as she hugged Jihyun, staring up at him with her big eyes glistening.
"Oppa, I wan' cly"
"No, Eva. Please don't cry. Oppa is here for you", The four' six" boy spoke, hugging the three feet-one-inched girl.
Jimin's anger melted into softness like velvety ice-cream in heated conditions, face morphing into gentle expressions.
"Don't cry, kiddos. Your dad will come back soon. He went for a good reason this time", he spoke, ruffling Eva's hair and messing her tiny ponytail in the process.
"My pony", Eva mumbled with a pout, barely heard by any of them.
"What do you mean, uncle?", Jihyun asked, being the mature kid out of the two.
"Let's just say, Sohee is going away from you and Jungkook and he will not stay out late at night. You will be able spend more time with him", Jimin spoke with a smile.
"Really? No more Sohee? Dada will be only ours? So, we will not have to share our dada with her?", Jihyun asked with eyes wide, gushing with happiness. The spark of happiness which blazed in the boy's dark eyes gave away how much that tiny soul had endured because of the lady.
"Nope", Jimin shook his head, popping the 'p'.
"Your donkey dada is all yours now but yeah, listen up. Do not forgive that as— I mean, idiot. Do not forgive that idiot easily. He was equally guilty of your sufferance. So, you guys gotta ignore him till he apologizes and promises you to never do anything like that again. Okay?"
"Okay. We will ignore mad man dada", Jihyun nodded with a serious gaze to effectuate Jimin's plans.
"Otay. We i'nore donkey dada!", Eva chimed with happiness brewing inside her just at the sight of her brother seeking lively after so many days.
"Yeah, babies—"
"Daddy...", A soft voice interrupted them as tiny footsteps echoed through the hallway.
