The dew drops on the flower petals glistened with the beaming light from the sun, Aura always envied the days that the sun shone so bright. It was just a constant reminder of how her powers never could light the darkness the way the sun did. Not that she tried to enhance her magic, it was not something that she had ever had enough faith in herself to try and expand. She wasn't Loki who could wield magic like he had been doing it for millions of years. Nor was she like Thor who would fight like a warrior experienced with hundreds of battles.

Aura just saw herself as the youngest sibling, the weakest sibling, the plain one, the ordinary one. She may have powers but nothing compared to her brothers.

Lost in her own self deprecating thoughts Aura stood in complete shock at the voices screaming in the distance. Voices that she could recognise in a heartbeat.

Thor.

Aura lifted the skirt of her dress running to find him. He was back. Finally. It was like Aura hadn't even registered that she was running into a screaming match. Her thoughts were solely consumed with seeing her favourite person.

"THOR!" Her shouting echoed through the garden.

Aura didn't stop her pace, rather sprinting further and further till she collided into Thor's arms. He was completely used to this behaviour from his little sister. His arms tightened around her waist swinging her around, her dress blowing in the wind.

"Ahhh sunshine! Missed me?"

"You know I did!" Aura squealed with excitement.

"We aren't finished Thor!" Loki rolled his eyes at the pair's interaction.

"Oh shut up Loki!" Thor spat back wanting to keep his attention on his sister rather than another one of Loki's petty arguments.

"What are you two arguing about?" Aura questioned, finally placing her feet back on the ground.

"It's none of your business!" Loki didn't even have the decency to look at Aura when he spoke.

Hearing his voice brought it back; the nightmare, the anger, seeing him...with that...woman, the panic attack, everything.

"I WASN'T TALKING TO YOU!"

Loki's eyes darkened at Aura's raised voice.

"How about you take your princess attitude and go back to daddy!" Loki always knew how to push Aura's buttons. It was like his gift.

"How about you take your narcissistic, stuck up attitude back to your room and bring your skank with you!"

Thor looked stunned at his little sister. He had heard them argue before, a lot actually, but Aura never reacted that aggressively. Almost like he knew something was wrong, something happened while he was away.

"Oh so that's the issue! You're still jealous of last night huh?" Loki tried to hide the falter in his smirk. Something about this made him feel sick to his stomach.

Aura couldn't be bothered to hold back anymore, not after everything that he made her feel. Feelings that made her sick to her stomach.

A stingy sensation grew over Loki's cheek. He had been slapped before, probably more times than he could count but this felt different. This time it felt personal. The anger in Aura's eyes didn't fade.

Loki's hands began to glow with the emerald green light. That slap wasn't going to go unpunished. His outrage at his sister forced his powers to spark in aggression. Nothing like he ever felt towards anyone, not even Thor.

Thor's eyes widened at what he saw in front of him. The small purple flicker in Aura's hand was something barely anyone had an opportunity to witness. It took a significant amount of any emotion to bring Aura to a point to use her powers. Thor and only seen it once, the day that Frigga had gotten ill. They thought they were going to lose her and Aura lost control of it. It was the only time Loki had seen it either.
