Dumbles is bad as we know because when you really think about it all he could of not given Slughorn the books to give to Tom, he could of preventing the yearly events when Harry started school ect... merlin he raised him as Severus says 'raised as a pig for slaughter', so he is taking the role of our good old Voldie with his 'henchmen' Ron and Ginny.
