Hot for Teacher by Van Halen performed by Noah Puckerman ft. New Directions Boys

Rory Flanagan couldn't help but grin with excitement as the glee boys gathered to perform an energetic song. The boy bounced in his seat with the music, but he couldn't help but throw thrilled glances at the redhead beside him. He couldn't understand why she wasn't as intoxicated with the song as everyone else.

The few times Faye caught the glances, she could only muster a side smile, attempting not to kill the boy's buzz. The redhead watched the boys with a straight face, slouched in her seat with her arms crossed. Her uninterested and tired behavior had caught a certain blonde girl's attention.

From the front of the room, on the opposite side, Quinn found herself carefully looking over her shoulder at the redhead who had grown uncharacteristically quiet since opening night. The Fabray girl wondered if it had been the letters that caused the drastic shift.

Did she know one was missing?

Letting her hand run over her bag that sat in her lap, Quinn could feel the outline of the stolen envelope. She hadn't opened it, but she hadn't returned it either. The blonde felt partially guilty, but another part of her felt an urge to keep the letter in case she needed something to have over Faye.

Quinn would never admit it, but as she glanced over at the Hastings girl, she could only think about how much she wanted to know what was causing the redhead to frown. The blonde had a longing for their buried conversations and the ability she once had to talk to Faye whenever. The lingering soft spot she had for the Hastings girl was a blessing and a curse.

It had reminded her of her ability to feel seen and warm, but it also caused Faye to see past any and all of her facades. Quinn could only hope she may be able to see past Faye's facade one day.

As the boy's song came to an end, the small audience clapped for the performance. Mr. Shue shot up from his seat, a wide smile on his face, "Puck! Guys! Spectacular! What a way to start off this week! You guys didn't even need an assignment. You just did it!"

"Mr. Schuester, while the performance was excellent—particularly the drumming—don't you think the subject matter is a little inappropriate," Rachel questioned.

"Oh, please! We've done worse," Faye scoffed from her seat. The redhead turned to look at Rory, "Quick, Rory! Pick an inappropriate performance you'd like to hear about. We can start with the very first, very sexual performance of Push It. Or we can discuss the Toxic performance which included a grown man who is also our teacher!"

"Thank you, Faye," Mr. Shue raised his hand to stop the girl from talking. Turning back toward Puck, the teacher finally answered Rachel's question, "It depends on what Puck's intent was when he chose this song."
