"Gwendolyn, I would like for you to have one of the guard shifts for Loki." Nick tells me as we get onto the helicarrier. I nod.

"Could she be allowed to take me to my cell?" Loki asks while he is getting off the quinjet. Everyone looks at me and I shrug. I whistle and my cape happily comes to me and gently wraps around my shoulders.

"I could do with a walk." I say. I gently grab Loki by his upper arm and gently pull him away from everyone. Since I'm the one leading him Nick said no guards would be necessary.

"Why would they not send guards if they are having you lead me to my cage Lady Gwendolyn?" Loki asks me quietly.

"Because at the Kamar-Taj I was the only one able to read and complete the Ancient One's book collection. The Ancient One was the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth before she died. Kamar-Taj is the building she lived in and taught those who came to her." I explained. He nodded in understanding.

"How are you in your father's shadow if you're most likely the only applicant suitable to be the next Sorcerer Supreme?"

"Because my father was the main reason we defeated Dormammu. He was the one that casted a time loop, which is forbidden because it goes against the natural order and the natural law of magic. But we both went together into the Dark Dimension and were killed over, and over, and over again before Dormammu realized we had trapped him in a time loop." I explain.

"Did it hurt?" He asked. "Dying over and over again?"

"Yes. He used a different way but it was all painful, we were impaled, crushed, obliterated and blasted multiple times. The angrier he got the more painful it was." I told him. "You're the first person to know what actually went on in there. Everyone else thinks we simply just got Dormammu to agree to a bargain." He looks at me shocked. Soon we get to the cage and I look at him.

"I'm really sorry for this, I didn't want to put you in here which is why I tried to get you to allow me to bring you to Asgard at the party." I tell him and he gives me a small smile. I put him in the cage and close it, it locks automatically. Nick walks in and I stand by the door crossing my arms. I lean on the wall and close my eyes.

"In case it's unclear, if you try to escape, if you so much as scratch that glass." Nick says and  the floor below the glass cage opens up to show the very large drop. Loki doesn't even seem fazed. "It's 30,000 feet straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works? Ant," Nick motions to Loki when he says 'ant' and then motions back at the controls, "Boot." Loki chuckles darkly.

"It's an impressive cage. Not built, I think, for me." Loki says.

"Built for something a lot stronger than you." Nick responds.

"Oh, I've heard. A mindless beast that makes play he's still a man. How desperate are you, that you call on such lost creatures to defend you?" Loki asks.

"How desperate am I? You threaten my world with war. You steal a force you can't hope to control. You talk about peace, and yet you kill because it's fun. You have made me very desperate. You might not be glad that you did." Nick says.

"Ooh. It burns you to have come so close. To have the Tesseract, to have power, unlimited power. And for what? A warm light for all mankind to share. And then to be reminded what real power is." Loki says.

"Well let me know if real power wants a magazine or something." Nick says and leaves. Loki looks over at me and I shrug in response.

"What is it like having a mother?" I ask softly. He raises his eyebrows in question. "My mom..umm...when I was a few weeks old she abandoned my father and I, she uhh..was found murdered, uh killed in a dumpster about a week or two later. I never got to really get to know her and my dad never talks about her." I smile forcefully.
